When TERA is updated on December 11th with the "BAF Masters" update, players will be able to say they're "goin' fishin'". Everyone will have the opportunity to reel in some "big ass fish". The BAFs can be sold for gold or traded to vendors for a variety of materials that can be used to enhance gear.

    Sounds like they've developed quite a lot in this game. And it's F2P? Hmm, maybe I'll take another look. Not that I want to catch some weird mutant fish with glutei maximus, even if they are especially maxim.

    It has been a while now (can't remember the exact patch when all this started) that TERA is mimicking BDO, and this one seems to follow the same path. I am not quite sure yet if this is a good thing or not, so far TERA has managed to keep its "character" and, mostly, avoid the HORRIBLE "updates" that have been plaguing BDO for several months now. I do hope they keep it this way, and also do hope they do NOT really introduce the pathetic "play the game AFK - 24/7" BDO has. After almost 7 years (in the West) TERA is not doing too badly, in fact much better than most of those new "flashy" MMOs, especially Korean / Asian ones.

    almost all korean mmos eventually adapt fishing if it wasnt already included, especially afk fishing, not so much as a copying but its what people like i guess
