Need help playing this game

Hi guys. I just started playing, or im in the trial period... and to be honest... i dont understand a shit :P or i understand something.... But for example when im going to fly, i just click random on the brigades etc and after some time i get in a plane. And then i take off and fly around in like 1 hour doing nothing, then ofc getting shot down by some Allied anti-air. I need alot of tips what to do in the start, how do i get to know this game? Imo its hard, but i really wanna learn since this game is so cool :D All tips/info would be MUCH appreciated! :D thx for a n00b :)

So you change persona to Air and go to the Air Brigade Page. You want to find a field near a fight that has a bridgade attached to it and find an aircraft avaliable. Hit the ' and ; keys to control engine RpmS. When you are airborne open the map(M key) and fly toward the mission arrow vector. This will lead you to a fight. Avoid an enemy town, the AI will kill you. As a newbie you are restricted to certain Aircraft and if you lose one it will take 4.5 hours to replace it. As newer equipment is researched you will be able to fly the higher aircraft that are one tier below the newest stuff. Use the F5 help channel to ask questions. Welcome aboard and we were all new once;-)

Thanks alot for the info! :D So how do i like, get better? To fly better plains etc. I could need some more help with infantery. How do i join a squad etc?  =D If u see an soldier running in a field not taking cover, its probably me... :D

PS:  Is it possible to do Kamikaze? Like crashing a plane into an enemy building or ship and it will explode?

You can fly offline with no worry about losing equipment and also use the training server. I believe the link is on the main page. Type .conv xxx to set your weapon covergence to other than the 300 meter default. Notice the dot, all server commands are Dot commands. When online, hit the Y key twice for a fps increase, the minimap is a drain. Numlock brings up the fps etc counter, Page up down sets rifle sight ranges. Use the help channel when in a major fight, simply ask if anyone is recruiting, most squads enjoy newbies. >>>Right click ww2.exe file and select compatibility then NT to help with loading stutters. Start using the Help Forums at wwiionline, a better place to ask.

There is a learning curve in this game and ESPECIALLY when involving flying. I have played the game for years and would suggest the easiest way to learn the game is to join a squad and get on Teamspeak. With teamspeak you can listen and ask questions with other flyers.

Next time your ingame you can wisper to me by typing ".t heartbrk your message" or you can join a squad by asking almost anyone.

    www.505thpanzer.com

That is a good squad that flys and plays ground.

Also tune 19/29 chat channels and you will find out where the axis pilots are flying.
