EQ3? Seriously STFU and take my money.. Dare I hope? DBG need to do something to make money.. H1Z1 is a joke and the only good stuff they have (EQ) is way old. We need an EQ3 as far as I'm concerned.
Since that rumour went out we have seen a few things to corroborate it, which could mean some of the rest will hold up. Just Survive did indeed sunset, a PS4 H1Z1 is going ahead & the Planetside Arena announcement kinda fits the "Planetside 3" rumour.

15k views on this story, tells a lot about what people are hoping for. Maybe instead of crapping all over something, give a studio a chance.
I think they've been given chances. Seems like everything they touch turns to dust. EverQuest is my favorite game of all time, and I definitely do not trust DBG to make an EQ sequel that is made for EQ players. If the leak has any truth to it at all then my point is proven already, EQ + BR? What?
As much as I would love a EQ 3, I'm still bitter about the giant pile of money I spend on EQ Landmark and how that panned out.
It would be very hard to give Daybreak another chance, they would really have to do something amazing (or just completely revamp EQ one, updating the graphics, UI, and gameplay, then knock off about 20 xpacs worth of junk).
They should just add a LMS (Last man standing) mode and put a battle royal label on it and include it in a non battle royal game as a saide thing to do.

PS1 was a damn near perfect combined arms game, but game technology quickly bypassed it's original code.
