MMOCulture is reporting that Lost Ark developer Smilegate has inked a Russian publishing deal with Mail.ru. The megacompany is Russia's largest gaming and internet platform that also has an English-based subsidiary in My.com. There are no other details yet known, but the move is a good sign for North American and European fans of Lost Ark that the game may finally be making its way west.

I wonder if My.com will publish in NA/EU? It would seem a natural fit if Mail.ru is handling the Russian publication.

Still, a snippet of great news for fans! :)

god i just hope they only get the RU version those greedy bastards can't even handle a single 1d game and they corrupt every game they put their hands on
and the way i see it , any company out there will make this game p2w the very first day of the pre order packages announcement .
i hope it never comes to the west lol

Actually pretty exciting. I know some hate the my.com publisher, but this game is going to have a cash shop regardless. However, Lost Ark looks insane, and I can't wait to play the N/A version.

cant wait to see those limited 500 dollar preorder packages, then announce 6-8 months later f2p with premium membership and cash shop.

gotta love how you concider russians "west".
they are just less east than asians, doesn't make em west ^^

if you wanna start "real" west, skip the cheaters and go west for real ^^
they will simply buy your game accounts for 5 euro the stack anyway

Title seems intentionally misleading and the content is entirely based on an assumption.

Mail.ru - the least of evils: they don't use regional blocks like Kakao for BDO.

There are 3 purchase options for Russian version - from $15 to $50, all with access to closed beta. No dates announced.

    Thank you for your time!

Even that i don't like My . com that much, it's a good News tho!!
Let's hope that Mail . Ru hands it to My . com and that it on this way come here faster.
    Call me excited! :)

Wow great news. Just like any KR games, we just need to wait 3 - 5 years for My.com to localise it.

Are there any talks about the potential console version? After playing D3 on PS4 I just can't go back to the inferior life of a clicking PC master race! ;)

I hope there will be console version or at least controller support on PC.
