Hmm this gets me wondering...

in Star Wars Galaxies

Lucas said numerous times that he would never release the original trilogy in its original format on DVD.  Well today they confirmed it would be.  Makes me wonder if they might eventually do the same thing to SWG....hmmm.

    Oh, man, if that's really true, then I'll take Mr. George off my shit list.  I'd even forgive him for the "Directors Cut" of THX-1138!

    On second thought, maybe I won't go that far...

    From my experience, whatever LucasArts and SOE says can always change, and it may not be the truth to begin with, so I never take their word.  I am still looking forward to PreCU SWG one of these days.

    Just like they said there would be no SWG on console, you can bet that it will come to the Sony Playstation 3.

    Wow! But I'll still keep my laser disc version, originals,  on DVD. :)
    If quality is better might pick them up.

    Yeah, that's convenient -- he has no more movies to produce, ergo, no revenue. So all of a sudden out he comes with re-releasing the original trilogy, after releasing the trilogy of Special Editions two years ago.

    It's nice to listen to customers, but give me a break. He should've listened when he decided to put out the Trilogy and make it a 6 disc set.

    Or.. I dunno.. maybe not even bother with special editions in the first place!?
