Silkroad Online + EQ2 (From time to time). Waiting for DNL/Vanguard/Darkfall/Warhammer Online
$OE lies list http://www.rlmmo.com/viewtopic.php?t=424&start=0 " And I don't want to hear anything about "I don't believe in vampires" because *I* don't believe in vampires, but I believe in my own two eyes, and what *I* saw is ******* vampires! "
Guild Wars & UO I don't pay a monthly fee for either of them.
I cancelled DAOC last night because I just can't see paying a monthly fee for something I play so little now. Right now there's not an MMO on the market that I consider worth paying $180 a year to play. Not when I get almost as much enjoyment from GuildWars and it doesn't cost me a penny and *classic* UO still offers more features than any other "modern" MMORPG ever released.
Currently Playing: Dungeons and Dragons Online. Sig image Pending Still in: A couple Betas
I play starcraft, I know it's not an MMO but hey it's still fun. I recently was playing diablo 2 and before that WoW, see how far i'm regressing. Pretty soon, I'll be playing super nintendo.

I'm not playing any because I can't find one worth playing. I played WoW for a long time, and then I just got bored with it. I tried going back to the original EQ, and it was like walking around an old, familiar graveyard. I dislike EQ 2 with a passion because I think it destroyed everything that was great about EQ 1. DAOC is too old to get back into without being alone in the game forever until you're somewhere near high enough to get killed by people who have invested all of their years of playing the game into enhancements that you won't get once you catch up to them. Eve Online was boring online; it's another one of those games where you really don't get much out of it unless you've been with it forever. Once I lost my channel to the noobie speak, I found myself in silence mode, and that got boring really fast. Tried joining a corporation, but they were dweebs, so it just didn't work. It's one of those where you get lucky or it just sucks.
I've half considered City of Villains and Auto Assault, but nothing about either intrigues me. I'm looking for something that's challenging, but on an intellectual level as well (kind of like EQ was back in the early days, or UO was as well). I find no "history" to any games anymore that doesn't appear to be written by people who really shouldn't be writing fiction.
So, I find myself playing Space Rangers 2 these days until something truly spectacular comes out as an MMORPG. I'm not seeing anything in the future that makes me feel that way, however.
I'm a newbie in the MMORPG arena - and I own a relatively new Mac. So when I started looking for a game to play, I had to look a while. I didn't know if I wanted a monthly fee (pretty sure I didn't) so that limited me even more. Actually, when it came right down to it, it left me almost NO choices. I looked at some freebies - really bad - and a few that had a one-time fee. Finally I decided to give Minions of Mirth a try. The graphics aren't quite as crisp and clean as a few of the bigger, cost-a-lot games, but I've been hooked since I started.
Since I'm new into the whole MMO thing, the learning curve was slightly long, but I think anyone that plays these games regularly would really enjoy it. The dev team is super - I've had one day of server down-time since I started playing two months ago. That's it. It's a relatively unpopulated game, which is sometimes great - no killing fields really (yet). Just lots and lots of choices - farming is possible if that's what you like, but good quests, too.
I am currently playing CoV. CoV is an awesome game. The graphics are very nice, community is really good, but the missions could use a little help (a little repetitive). I have noticed a lot of CoH missions have been ported over. But it will do for now… until Age of Conan is released. I am also excited about 9 Dragons… but it looks like they are using the same graphics from the Korean version (not good). I understand a game is not just about graphics but for me it is one of my top requirements. A MMORPG should be well balanced.
Just finished playing the following in order:
RF Online – Great concept, nice graphics, horrible interface, and the community would be better if they fixed their interface. Why would you make an interface that doesn’t allow you to easily chat, add buddies, group etc….
MxO – Matrix is a beautiful game (graphics that is). The interface is nice but the missions really need help. I have never seen such a repetitive game. Interlock is the worst fighting system ever.
Everquest II – This game came a long way from the original released version. Today it is a well oiled machine. Unfortunately all the players are moving on to new games. The community has dropped dramatically.
WoW – Great game... just felt with 3 lvl 60s I was done.
Star Wars Galaxies – I’m sure you can all agree… “God what a waste!” This game could have been the best. Unfortunately the engine sucks. However, like Everquest II it is a better game today. To bad the community has been lost to other MMORPGs.
EvE Online – Well there is not much to say about this game… it is simply amazing. I played for over a year. I don’t recall a game that ever made me feel (physically) I was going to die if I lost another battleship. The lag, in big battles, is really bad though but other than that everything about this game is great!

Juste endend my Coh/Cov account last Month. Looking for a new game but good old Guild Wars keeping me occupied.
There are enough trials to keep you occupied for a bit too - spent the last few weeks trying out DaoC, and some other freebies and noticed theres a trial for the Matrix out now too.
Interested in Vangaurd and Heroes Journey.
Those free Korean games are okay but I think I would rather play a good RPG game than a sub par MMO.

Currently playing Asheron's Call. It's one of the few games that actually plays well on my ancient computer.
Tried Wow ( too simple ) and Eve ( too complicated ), AO and TSoR didn't seem to run very well on my system.
