New forum software for HJ is on the plate, post-E3.

I won't say when, I won't say how, I'll only say it's in our plans, the software has been purchased, but in the meantime, those with the time and the know-how are busy doing other things.

    I would much rather post HJ-related items on the official forums, but the current format, frankly, I just don't like.

    E3 coming soon and new forums thereafter -- sounds great.

    yah man. I wouldn't worry too much about taffic dropping. The forum overhall is happening after E3, which (most likely) will be bring A LOT of new attention to the game. People will be seeking multiple sources to learn and talk about HJ. Including the Hall.

    I see this as a good thing. I havent been over to the Offical forums in months due to the fact that it is near impossible to keep track of a certian topic you might have a interest in. Hopefully it will be a bit more like dare I say "normal" forums, which break information down to the thread level. It's bad now, having a large influx of people would make it impposible to have any kind of structure at all.

    Oh I'm not.  I plan on becoming the l2orphus of Lineage 2, the thottbot of WoW.  We already have plans in the works to keep our population up!

    If you don't mind me asking what plans do you have in place for when you're at college or will the site stagnate during term times?

    That is great new, it is in need of a huge overhaul.. I'll be sure my guild becomes much more active over there once the new forums go live. We are going to be looking for like-minded players who put a premium on friendship and family.

    I stopped visiting the main sight long ago after the format just drove me nuts.  Just glad there seemed to be enough people at MMORPG to keep me interested.  I look forward to the change.  Also, I hope Simu has some nice things in store for us at E3.

    Now we just have to convince them to use that new software in all their other forums. There was a pretty heated debate on their forums a week or so ago... (Simutronics :>: Forum Discussions :>: Comments and Suggestions if you want to check it out).

    It seems some of their players hate the forums and some think a jumbled mass of gibberish is the way to go (can you tell which side I'm on LOL). I seriously despise Simutronics antiquated forum design. It was great in 1995, but now it's an old system that is in much need of an update.
