Riot Games has released an amazing new League of Legends cinematic trailer called "Awaken" (featuring Valerie Broussard) that showcases a number of the game's heroes as "a deadly masterpiece unfolds". "A lone resistance made whole. A chance to come alive." For fans of the game, this is a must-watch -- heck, even folks who've never played will appreciate how well the trailer is made.

    What a gorgeous cinematic. :) I'd say that I wished Riot would indeed make an MMO but then that would lead to unrealistic expectations and ultimate disappointment. :D

    This is epic...can't wait for Riot to cook something new (if it's gonna happen), it's my favourite company together with GGG

    Riot is making an MMO. 
    Unannounced, rumor only despite the leaky CEO. I'll believe it when they actually announce it. 

    Point about unrealistic expectations and ultimate disappointment still stands. ;)

    Riot is in full on preparations for their new game. They teased the fact they're working on something new in Ask Riot #100 and the career page on their website have now been updated to mention what game the jobs are for. (All LoL atm)

    In response to the notion that we would be disappointed or have over the top expectations....I believe Riot is a company that can deliver. I have played League for years, and Riot Games takes their time and gets things right. I think if they did an MMO....it would be the same case as for League. Riot is a cautious, careful company when it comes to quality standards. Just because they seem a little knee jerky with the announcements that were mentioned shouldn't void out the fact that they really do put care and time into their work.

    I love the cinematics from Riot. I would love to see more. Sion in that video just was amazing. I just don't like the lore. I enjoyed what the lore was before they decided to make it one world. I feel that they went and ruined unique lore to make standard fantasy lore because easier to build around.

    Whatever they have new come out then I will be disappointed. That does not mean though it is a level that I won't give it a fair chance. Lore is something most don't seem to care about that I talk to and others are fine with fluidity. I am ok for a some changes but it is like Trundle went from a savior of his clan to a typical fantasy troll. They can do graphics that I love though which is not very common.

    Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO, try to have fun instead of rushing things. Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.

    This is on par with Blizzard cinematics, very well done.

    Tfw all his team mates are clashing and Yasuo just farms the minions like a Dynasty Warrior hero. 11/10 in-game accuracy.
