@DMKano, could you please pull another "gimmicky bullshit" on this one?

For that price i'll play on a one seater recliner sofa for maximum comfort + a lapboard and still have money left for other things.

Sorry but this "gaming" branded stuff just keeps getting out of hand.

Just my opinion. Nothing against this particular brand, its all of them.

There's nothing wrong with spending $429 for a high quality computer chair that will last you for many years.  The longevity question can't really be answered in a quick review, though.

My concern on that is the 2 year warranty excludes wear and tear. Also, while I might appreciate the warmth of fabric during winter, the rest of the year that chair would likely be a warm place to sit.

$400+ for a chair that has the arm rests of a Big Lots special. 290 lbs. weight limit? That chair is way too fragile to hold gamer butts. It should be 350 lbs., minimum. 400 lbs. if we're being honest with ourselves.

I make spreadsheets at work - I don't want to make them for the games I play.

The problem is that they always talk about quality but all those chairs share the same weakness. The base that screws underneath the chair is too small and the single tube in the middle doesn't help. Unless the user is either skinny or a child, body weight breaks the base of the chair just by moving around.

I think that if they really pride themselves on quality to charge this kind of money, they could try and come up with a chair that has a base/support that covers the whole seating part and have 4 legs (or a wide enough cilinder) instead of a central thin tube that doesn't keep up with body weight and movement.

That's basically the biggest reason why i can't justify these prices for a chair.

Preface - I don't use gaming chairs as I use standing desks at work and home.

IMO - get a functional chair - but not too comfortable - as I don't think that sitting down for more than 30-45min is all that good for you.

So get something that will make you get up and walk around - like this:

It will support over 300 pounds - but your ass gonna be going numb often - which will force you to get up and move (that's precisely the desired effect)

Also the nice thing with this one - it's not painted or finished - so if you want to grab a sharpie and draw a sweet Secret Lab or GTRacing or Vertagear logo on it - go for it!

    Please keep doing these. XD

I have the leather version of the titan and it’s still as good condition as the day it arrived over 2 years ago. They really do make a higher quality chair. The material has not dimminsihsed and the hydraulics etc still as good as day 1. I am a bigger guy too and I weigh more than the “limit” and it’s never shown any reason. I suspect they under rate the chairs weight limit to be safe.

The base and hydraulics of the Titan are far bigger and offer more support than their competitors. The titan is the chair for the “larger” of us and the build quality reflects that 100000%
