The EverQuest II team is ready to celebrate its elder sibling's 20th anniversary with some pretty sweet new things for its community too. Players will be able to take part in the Plane of Mischief event in March and a new "event server" called Nagafen will be introducing content sure to please old-school PvPers.

Everquest 2 should get a lot more love. It is an older school MMO like wow but outside of PVP I think it's 10 times better. There's a crapload to do in that game. Crafting is fun, collecting is fun, questing is fun, the dungeons are fun, building your house up is fun, the fact that you can hire mercenaries is awesome if you don't want to play in a group, the lore is decent, the graphics are very nice if you have a good graphics card, the zones are good size, heritage quests and other special quests and so much more stuff I'm probably forgetting.

EQ2 has been a problem child since launch, it never really gained popularity despite the number of reworks, i think the biggest problem was that it didn't really feel like an Everquest game, or at least not a successor to EQ1. Now it just looks dated, sadly not in the 'old school' way either. :/

i just looooove EQ2 and it will continue to be my top fav mmorpg. I am very excited for the new event pvp server coming out, i play on every new progression server EQ1 and EQ2 make soo i will def be on new naggy. I rly believe if the masses were to try EQ2 they would love it, people are just turned off by lower population imo. Luckily new servers bring the crowds and the zones and dungeons are full of people LFG.
