The end game is a concept which always looms large over any ongoing multiplayer game. For most games, things are over once you beat the main story, but for MMOs and MMO-lite the main storyline is only the tip of the iceberg. Even for players who take their time while leveling the basic game design is intended for the majority of a player’s time to be spent playing after the leveling content (because they want you to keep playing for as long as the game is around). Thankfully I got a peek at the endgame for Anthem at the recent media event in San Francisco.

It's not, there are some major modifiers on endgame loot that will make you want to alter your build and use different tactics.
Not from the examples I've seen. Some increase the radius of group shield effects, make you immortal for a few seconds after using a certain skill, help with ammo reserves, increase flight time or speed, etc. Some do increase damage, of course. Big focus on mobility and stuff though.
I'm not saying they'll be in the final build, I have no idea. But they have been playing around with that kind of thing.
Probably the best weapon to annoy viewers with.
The longevity of this game isn't reliant on loot. It's reliant on new story content and new dungeons. Loot farming is just something to occupy your time while you wait for new content releases.
I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.
You're dead cynical about this game lol. I'm sure there's enough options to find the good loot for the play style you want, as long as you are prepared to obtain them.
I noticed during the demo if someone gets lost you usually send someone out to help them or just stand at the next instance and wait.

I want the game to be about the loot and hope it is varied enough to make it worth trying for. I don't mind having to do a little bit of calculations to decide if I want to keep something but really just want something fun to play that I can decide to challenge myself with when I want.
Not to mention that it doesn't have cross platform support either. Now I understand that Playstation doesn't really jump on the cross platform bandwagon because of their exclusives, but I'm pretty sure Microsoft really would not mind.
From what I have seen there is some max level content you can do on your own but most of it, especially on harder difficulties, you’ll probably want a group for.

There IS group content in the form of Strongholds(dungeons) with raids coming post launch. There's also open world bosses that require multiple people to take down. You can see this very thing in the demo if you explore the open world.... youll come across some. Though, only having 2 Dungeons at launch is a bit worrisome. I know theres many difficulties for each but still, only 2 at launch is pretty damn small. I'm personally happy there isn't PvP because once you introduce PvP, then balance becomes a huge issue. They did say it may come post launch though so, it probably will end up having some form of PvP.
People allways want "end game" content well apart from pvp or raids what would you be happy with as "end game" content ?
If you want a new idea, go read an old book.
In order to be insulted, I must first value your opinion.
