Truely Disappointed

in Dungeons & Dragons Online

Just downloaded the 7 day trial and I and sad to say that I just can't get into it. The game seems interesting and as I try very hard not to wax nestalgic about the good old days of pen and paper  D&D or playing EQ when it first came out (when it was HARD and the chillins didn't play) I simply must say that no first person view... no play.

Some might say I am being superficial but this post isn't about eye candy... it's about immersion. I simply can't get "into" the game if I can't see through the eyes of my character. Yes I want 3rd person camera views also but I must have 1st person.

What were you guys thinking???? Thank you for the free trial though so I could make this discovery without spending any money.

    If this was the biggest problem with the game, then it'd have 5* as much subscribers....

    HEHEHE  very true.  But it *is* one of the game's shortcomings.  And obviously one that bothers the OP so I don't see a need to berate him about it :)
