are my specs good enough to play this?

in Lineage 2

ok dont know to much about computers and such. but anyway im thinking of tryinf this game out.
what i have:
AMD Athlon 64 Processor
3400+
2.39 GHz, 896 MB of ram
ATI Radeon Express 200

and a few other questions if any of you wouldnt mind answering for me.
1.  dont see game on EBgames.com or at my local store, can it be downloaded from main site?
2.  Expansions, how many?  what do they cost? and can i get them from the website also?
3.  how old is this game, would you say it still has alot of Life left in it?

    I think you can download the game off the website, I think they have four free expansions called chronicles, and it perhaps may be 2-3 years old.

    You know what, I was a lineage noob about 12 hours ago, now I am 1337.

    cool deal i checked out the website, i really think ill like this game alot,  but still doesnt answer my main Question,  is my computer good enough to play L2.  i really dont know much about that kind of things.

    Yes, it looks like you have the minimum requirements the game asks for as long as your video card has 64mb of ram.  GL, and let us know if you have anymore questions.

    if you download the game and it doesnt work.. you could try buying the real cd.. it will run faster.. loads some info off cd.. i know on my dell when i play l2 its slow..but when i play it with the cd i bought it loads stuff a bit quicker... maybe im wrong/imagination.. dont play on the dell much though..

    Your computer should be able to handle it just fine. EB Games/Game Stop doesn't actually carry Lineage II any longer, why I don't know. The full game client can be downloaded at the lineage 2 website. There have been 4 major updates to L2, called Chronicles. It is currently in the 4th Chronicle: Scions of Destiny, with the 5th Chronicle on the horizon. Lineage 2 is two years old and has plently of life left imo. If you buy a game time card it contains all the chronicles on cd's, saving downloading time.

    You can buy it from fileplanet.com off the D2D tab at the top of the page. It will cost you $10 less than buying it off the lineage 2 website, plus the download is faster.

    ok i ordered the time card with the full game, got 2 day delivary, so ill probly get it on monday dont think UPS comes on sunday. anyway cant wait to start playing and thanks alot for all ur help.

    Your computer will run the game .

    Be careful you will need a SERIAL KEY to subscribe in the game. Read about the packages you will buy, because some of then is just the cd and no serial key.
