If you've been looking for a Warhammer-based hack'n'slash game for a while now, you may be happy to hear that Warhammer: Chaosbane will be heading your way on June 4th.The game will available for PC, XBox One and PlayStation 4. Those who pre-purchase the Magnus Edition will be able to start playing on May 31st. Those who pre-order will also be treated to two beta adventures in March and April.

    Another Warhammer game my friend would love me to get into.

    Sadly ... I can never get into them. When it comes to Warhammer, I'll play the tabletop. When it comes to most video games however, and especially hack and slash which is just a clone of a style of game designed 25-30 years ago, I get bored fast.

    I hear hack n slash warhammer, I think of Vermintide 2. I enjoyed it.

    Pre order exclusives always trigger me. Especially when they are “beta tests”. I get nerveous about the people who throw money at literally anything giving any kind of feedback about a video game. No offence to those who enjoy doing that.

    You have a point that I don't think has been addressed much.

    I doubt this game will have a summoner class, sadly (summoners in Warhammer are always chaos followers as the summonables are chaos demons), and that's the only class I enjoy playing in ARPGs.

    Don't you already have enough of those? Many of us prefer iso-view and God yes to echo another post. Please don't give us another stillborn like Inquisitor Martyr. That one turned me off pre-purchasing games for good.

    Eh, not really a fan of hack'n'slash arpgs that are never as good as one's a decade+ ago, but might give this one a go just because it's Warhammer.

    Definitely no Summoner as of yet.

    Classes are basically a Knight of the Burning Sun, a Slayer, an Archmage and a Shadow Warrior.

    Yes, the game's Steam page shows it has all modes. Single player, Online MP, Local MP, Online Coop, Local Coop, it's all there.

    $59.99 for a Diablo 3 looking clone maybe ill buy it later when its on steam on sale for around 5 bucks. Don't get me wrong I'm a huge W.H. fan paint and build the minis too just think the price is way OP that's all maybe $19.99 oh also with the options does seen like a possible cash cow Hmmm?

    The price is not aggressive or overpriced if you wait until it comes down. :)
