Vainglory has officially launched on Steam with full cross-platform compatibility between PC, Mac, Android and iOS devices. Players can create teams irrespective of platform thanks to the "proprietary E.V.I.L. cross platform engine". Vainglory is a free-to-play MOBA with 48 heroes, each with unique abilities, strengths and weaknesses.

    Vainglory is alright. Not the worst MOBA I've ever played (Strife, if you were wondering), but I could never see myself seriously playing it over other major MOBAs.

    Vainglory has bigger flaws than that though. First and foremost being that, as a limitation of being a mobile game, the map consists of only a single lane and a jungle.

    In the video you can see that it's the standard 3 lane map. I guess they took into account that it's PC after all :)

    Still most of the champs are made with the idea that it's for mobile, so when you play them on a PC I think that some will feel really broken aka too strong.

    Vainglory is fine but Emoji Spam, and Pings suck currently no way I can find to mute this on the Steam version every 3 seconds someone spamming emoji for some stupid reason its distracting and maeks game play worse.

    Not a bad game but it has a ton of hackers using modded Apk files. PC is just going to be worse.

    They expanded it with the 5v5 mode they added a while back.

    Not many people play it seems, my game had a few bots in them and 4 real players lol. And only 3 skills damn feels boring. :(

    Yep plus PC has a huge advantage with skillshot characters over mobile.

    Is that the one where they try to do a very very bad rendition of all the gods and goddesses in lore and try to make it 1st person? Lmao. I just looked it up...SMITE is garbage.

    No that's not what they were referencing. There was another MOBA called Strife made by S2 games (creators of the game Savage and Heroes of Newerth).

    No that's not what they were referencing. There was another MOBA called Strife made by S2 games (creators of the game Savage and Heroes of Newerth). 
    This. And it was boring trash with a terrible art style.

    Smite was a great game in open beta/launch, but their hero imbalance is frankly pathetic, and has turned me off to playing it anymore.

    This is something that always concerns me, either my PC as an unfair advantage or disadvantage, why lump us all in together?
