Those that are addicted(which are A LOT) are still spending ridiculous amounts on this game, but with time if Apex continue to deliver a lot of them will switch and revenue will start to decline imho.

    Is it compared to December?
If so, that's kind of expected, isn't it?

Is that because they were giving away the "battle pass" for free. . or would that affect February only? I don't know much about the game.

My kid was playing Fortnite a lot,  I was buying him V Bucks each week , about 4 weeks ago ,none of my CC would work  contacted each CC, they said there are no issues with CC, contacted, Epic went back and forth with 6 emails as they insisted I was do I g so.ething wrong or CC was no good .. Then Apex launched kid tried that and liked it , and go figure the same CC worked fine with Apex .... Epic lost a customer,  I noticed as I went thru the process there were many folks having the same trouble, seemed to stem from when Epic was compromised and I removed the CC info,  never could get the CC work again after thst..   kid likes Apex better anyhow

Odd that WoW "re-entered the top 10" given that Activision-Blizzard reported a decline. Bah what do Activision Blizzard know about WoW's revenue this is SuperData. They must be right ........

I'm more interested in how Epic will act moving forward.  Lately they been acting like a king throwing money into the air, giving a bigger profit to unreal developers and modelers, creating funds for various developer communities.

When the money starts to dry how quick of an attitude change do we get.

So sad that all this fluff does indeed work and you can make tons of money with just cosmetic bling bling. Theres no real progress in your characters its something for new gamers to be lured.
Sad if now all the new games go into this direction just because its the way of the MONEY. But as we see its exactly how the gaming industry works. My hope for a game with progress (you cant buy) gets smaller and smaller.

Apex launched in February. The report was made for January and year-over-year revenue was still climbing significantly at that point. The 50% decline was compared to December.

I just hope they are all watching it rather than playing, or they will be back in a MMO near you soon. ;)

Sure it will. I asked around some young ones in my family from ages 11-14 and they're just not there yet to get hyped by Apex or anything else but Fortnite. I thought they would hop on to Apex in a heartbeat but I guess they just like the art style and those fancy dance moves more. Until the others start to play Apex in school... :)

I disagree. They are investing that money in things that will help them keep making more money in the future and don’t forget they didn’t even need the Fortnite money to keep moving forward as a company anyway.

I'm glad they are re-investing in Unreal, we need more Unreal Engine games and less unfinished Unity based games.

Lol, what a statement. You think an unfinished unreal game will be any better?
