With the arrival of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 mere days away, Ubisoft is prepping everyone for the battle to come by releasing the official launch trailer. "We are the last line of defense. We are the people making a stand to take back D.C. We are The Division and history will remember us."

Sadly from what I tested during the beta I also have the feeling that the game is nowhere near ready to official release.
Could it be that we are moving into an era where most AAA releases are really a form of early access?
Guy probably comes here and reads the same 6 people, posting the same 6 arguments over and over and buys into it.
Get ready for said people to come here and repeat themselves.
Game has bullet sponge mechanics. I'm out!
Headshots should kill people in one shot. I'm out!
I had to turn graphics down to medium to run at 60FPS. Poorly optimized game, I'm out!
I forget the rest.
Tell me an MMO where there isn't "bullet sponge" mechanics in the end game or even in dungeons? You think you just go up to any boss in WoW or anything with a sword and one shot it? Half the fun of the "longer life" model is that you can introduce mechanics to have to deal with. I can tell you if i one shot every boss in the game with a headshot this game would be horrible.
name an MMO at launch that didnt have FPS issues? I have played hours and hours and NEVER noticed a thing.
People dont understand that this is software and that it will always need improvements, but the base game coming out is solid compared to other recent MMOs IMO.
I find it very interesting between what people say here and what we see on the official forums too.
There are still those that are giving feedback like:
Too bullet spongey! (they were shooting enemies armor)
X Weapon needs a nerf! (they are mad they die to a certain weapon type)
TD2 is TOO HARD! (They can't solo everything)
I died too fast in the DZ, HACKERS DID IT (unsubstantiated)
There will always be people who think the game should work exactly the way they want to play it, but unfortunately that isn't the case. Wouldn't it be great to have a game tailored specifically to your wants, but that's not how they are made.
TD2 hits a lot of great spots for some, and others dislike it completely and that's okay.
I enjoy the game, but I don't love everything about it. It won't stop me from playing just because I wish the build I wanted to play was more viable.
In less than 2 years.
What could possibly go wrong?
I only experienced minor bugs during both betas on the PS4.
I enjoyed the game and look forward to seeing more beyond what was shown in beta.
I'm also a big fan of how the cooperative settlements have people patrolling and getting into fights without my initial intervention. Also fun to call them in as backup with trying to clear a control point. Makes soloing more enjoyable. Also allows you to try out different approaches to attacking an event when you have an A.I. controlled squad backing you up.
The game overall just feels like a solid upgrade for me. I also like the endgame specialist options. I'm still not sure which direction I want to commit to. I imagine I'll figure it out when I'm closer to 30. All 3 specializations are tempting and all very useful.
If you enjoyed D1, you will most likely really enjoy D2.
They learned a lot in Division 1 in terms of builds. In early D1, there were maybe 1-2 gear sets that were useful and the rest were pretty much garbage. There was also 1-2 guns everyone used (lol Vector) at end game.
By the end(ish) of Div1, there was a lot more build variety, a lot more valuable and interesting guns.
This growth + new endgame specializations will (hopefully) foster a much more interesting and complex ecosystem of play types from day 1.
I just worry about the power of the endgame specializations. They did not feel powerful enough for the extremely limited ammo. I can imagine though that they will feel OP in PvP, but hopefully Ubi is wise enough to balance them separately.
What I find hilarious about these people too is that they don't comprehend that its an RPG. Rpg's have mobs that have health bars that require some time to kill them whether its with swords as in fantasy, guns like Division, or laser shit like Destiny/Anthem. This isn't some shooter like Pubg/CoD, etc where it takes a short amount of time to kill a player. It's an RPG with shooter mechanics and loot. For some people that's rocket science and cant comprehend it. Why or how? I have no clue, because they're morons I guess?
That goes for any RPG that has loot and an "endgame". When there's an endgame, people rush the hell out of leveling content and everything between level 1 and max level to experience whats at the end. I don't understand why they do this because all they're doing is cutting themselves short of content and than sit there and bitch that there's no content in the game. Bull fucking shit there isn't content, you just chose to blow through a shitload of it to experience a small percentage of the game. Yes, we end up spending more time at the endgame but that's like sitting through a movie and fast forwarding to the ending. Fucker you just missed most of the experience.
I blame gamers with this whole "no content" bullshit you hear about every game. Some games really don't have end game content but a lot actually do.
I mean, did you even read my comment? It states nothing of me not enjoying mechanics, I simply stated that it is half-baked and will not be a completed game until further in the future. If you are going to buy it and support the game, great, I wish you the best of luck. But, when you play the game for 2 weeks straight, then come here to complain that there is no content, systems are half-baked, things are glitching out that were not tested, remember this post.
Yeah, we read it. You made a vague comment with 0 arguments as to why you think it's half baked. What some of us are saying, is most of the negative comments towards this game are people complaining about the RPG elements of this game.
Why do you feel this game is half baked?
My comments weren't directed at you. It's just a general statement about people who complain about the dumbest shit and those who expect a looter shooter to be super short kills like another shooter game when in reality, its an RPG so they should expect mobs to have health bars.
Maybe you should have played in the Open Beta? I enjoyed Div 1 for awhile, so I believe this is worth it.
Do people expect Division 2 to reinvent the wheel or some shit? It's Division but much improved on every aspect.
You're my hero of the day.

You see it even now many people are complaining about some of the changes in the beta. One person on the official forums actually complained about the weather effects. The weather effects that are not only well done and varied, but also add difficulty to the game.
I feel like a fresh start is a great idea, but they would have to do something really different for them to force players to restart a 3rd time. I consider TD1 as the learning curve.
you might look at your rig for the fps issue, i am running an i5 6500, 16Gb DDR3, RX580 and ofc installed on a SSD and still i get around 50-60 on 4k with high settings
