    After all of the i hate SOE, I cant wait for Vanguard post.

    I find this very amusing, and sad all at the same time...

    lol, yeah SoE rocks. Most SoE haters are from SWG, old EQ1 players and even EQ2 players who didn't like the game from release... Ok, maybe SoE doesn't rock, they have thier ups and downs. If it wasn't for all the good changes and new expansions they made in EQ2 I would still be interested in Vanguards. But now I just want to get to 70.

    Still I find it funny that Sigil decided to work with SoE. I thought they broke away from SoE so they could work freely from them...

    I went and checked out the Vanguard boards yesterday just to see what people there felt about all this.  OMG... 71 pages PAGES long... and Brad McQuaid was answering posts in the beginning.  Many Vanguard fans are not fans of SOE in the least and they were very happy originally that Vanguard was not going to be an SOE game.  Brad McQuaid stated that SOE would not have ANY say in the development of the game whatsoever.

    I am impressed with what SOE has done with EQ2 so maybe they're finally listening to their playerbase instead of their wallets... I'll still give Vanguard a shot.  One furious forum poster on the Vanguard site even posted "If SOE has ANYTHING to do with Vanguard... even so much as only printing the V for the word Vanguard on every box, I will not play your game". 

    Hehehe, gamers don't forget....

     SoE is going to be part of this:

    SoE will provide Distribution, marketing, hosting and back-end support --including billing and technical support.

    I like that fact that SOE will be handling the distribution and adding it to Station Access.. That means yet another game that I don't have to pay a different account for.  Woot!!! EQ, EQ2 and Vanguard for one low price.  Life is loveable again and again.  Good luck and good gaming folks.  Cheers!

    Yes, that is why i am actually (omg) happy to have this happen (but only since SoE won't be part of the development part, so ive heard)


    I was looking at Vanguard the other day and thought that might be a cool game to try out when it comes out. I was also planning on playing EQ2 this summer. Win/Win
