One EVE Online player has boldly gone where no one in the game's history has gone before. Katia Sae has explored all of the reachable systems in EVE and it only took a bit over nine years to do so. What makes it all the more remarkable, Katia did this incredible first-of-its-kind feat without suffering a single loss.

    I thought the number is at least twice higher. Great achievement and unique in its difficulty - considering how it becomes easier over time due to EVE's declining population.

    Well, I bet CCP tracks this type of information.

    I remember seeing a map of another game where they tracked all the deaths and where they took place so they could assess their most dangerous areas. Doesn't seem so far fetched that every player logs where they have gone and whether or not they died at all.

    Impossible in Elite Dangerous. I calculated that at the current rate of 10 million new systems being explored (that includes just passing through) per year by all players combined, it will take 32,000 years for the entire galaxy to be explored.

    You are correct. Since launch of Elite only 0.038% is explored so far.

    There is about 3% of Eve she could not visit, apparently you can't go to Jove. Not sure why the game has places you can't go to, dare I say it is the Battle Royal zone? ;)

    A great achievement especially for those of us who love exploring in MMOs, it just another of those gameplay elements that you so rarely see now days in the tinyMMOs we so often seem to get.

    I'm not sure what to think on this to be honest, as I do recall spending a lot of isk buying bookmarks for gate to gate warping for all regions from the same person before the introduction of warp to zero came into the game. Those bookmarks saved my life a lot during the great war between BoB + co vs Goonies + co. I can only assume that they were not monitoring it at that time and probably threw it in when they added new systems to the map before wormholes.

    I will however congratulate the person for doing it without dying once. :) With regards to jove space, that is ccp's personal testing space which i believe can only be accessed on the test server.

    Now that's an interesting world 1st achievement, not those "find the best exploit and switch one account with 3 friends to reach max lvl the fastest".

    It is likely the other way round, she wouldn't be able to pull it off if her corp mates weren't helping.

    It takes a special person to go to an MMO website, read the forums, and shame someone like that. Glass houses, throwing stones, kettles and pots and all that.
