Will you play an MMORPG of humor with no sexy women no small kid like race , full of half naked muscle guys run around with only boxer , beat up cute pony with oversize weapons in a colorful rainbow world that only have men and pony ?

F2P game with cash shop sell P2W colorful boxers , men bikinis and manly hats , oversize shoulder pads , and ties too , with pony mounts and pony pets , silly idle animation and cool dance move , strike poses , body tattoo , and angel wings too .

    Why?

    ...and... No thanks :)

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.

Im going to give iixhivx the benefit of the doubt and say English isn't his first language and something is getting mixed up or lost in translation here.

I voted yes as I have no idea whether it would be good or not. I rarely(if ever) not play a game based on aesthetics.

How would such an mmorpg work thematically?

Also deny people the option to play female avatars? In 2019? In the time where a developer was prosecuted for making an egalitarian rpg? Good luck.

If you would make it as a joke game with lots of parody and over the top comedy- I can totally see major streamers playing it as comic relief and get major views.

    Think Goat Simulator
The closest I can think of is an ancient game called Lemmings.

Whoever remembers that, you're getting old.

The avatars may not all be dudes but the players mostly are. Also that cute little female elf is being played by a guy in real life.

I'm more concerned about these asian mmos that love to throw lolis around, which are of course being mostly played by dudes....dont even get me started on the cosmetics those toons can wear (yeah I'm looking at you Blade and Soul, making 2 versions of the same outfit for lyn females, one with boobs and one without....dont think I forgot about you Tera, with every class in the game being playable by elin except for brawler/valkyrie....for now....).

    I prefer diversity.

If you want a new idea, go read an old book.

In order to be insulted, I must first value your opinion.

Lemmings was my jam on Amiga500

    Such a great game
    Indeed.

I often put it on just for the music.

In Entropia, I play a female character because the first one I made was male and then i made another char and it was female. In EVE, i had one female and one male.

It's kind of fun to play dress up with a female avatar, I mean, it is much more diversity in what you can wear as a female than as a male.

More like: Games put a lot more effort into making female outfits stylish, outlandish, and sexy, while making all the dudes look like prudes.

Honestly I'd welcome a game that only had male avatars - better than feeling like a pedophile surrounded by loli races, or a pervert surrounded by massively-breated women in stripper clothing.

Although I'd prefer to just have MMO developers stop needlessly sexualizing their characters, regardless of gender.

if the game is really good i don't mind, but in general prefer to create female characters.

EDIT: Nevermind, i was answering the question in the title. After reading the actual post, NO, i would not play that game. Much less pay for it.

So we survive the dark ages by pretending women don't exist? Ignore the complaints, people have to have something to complain about online, its like having breakfast in the morning, it becomes a routine. :)

I'm guessing the OP is a youth whose first language is not English trying to throw out a "funny" idea and running from the thread. With that in mind my honest answer is yes. If the game is good I will try it, just like I have tried a few beat'em ups featuring only giant chested waifus. To me, this idea applies to people who complain about future MMOs with older systems which you dont like or diverse characters you dont like : The existence of a single game in an HUGE market of games that doesnt appeal to YOUR taste/aesthetic does not hurt you. Let people enjoy things and play what you want.

Have you ever considered that it's not the developers?

I personally find it disturbing when people connect sexualisation with the choice of attire. It leads to the reinforcement of rape culture and the notion that the choice of attire is directly connected to sexual acceptance.

Removing sexy attire or even worse, removing selectively from only one sex, further reinforce this notion that the choice of clothes and sexual acceptance are directly connected. When in reality they can be completely unrelated.
