so its basically only pvp, i mean i got the game and all but havent downloaded it.
tried the game thought the quests were boring and so quit, i thought the idea of houses made it cool and i thought it was wierd that almost everyone looked the same (not in size).
but i just hated the way that there was nothing to do, i do like games where you can raid places though and i would like a game where you could have a shooting vehicle which can have up to like 6 people in it.
does this game have all of this plus has the graphics changed since a year ago
You need players to PvP, and a majority of the SWG servers are mere ghost towns. SWG lost the majority of its population due to a unwanted revamp (NGE) and has not recovered for the most part. I would suggest you check the SOE SWG forums, read some reviews and other forum threads. Servers like Bria, Bloodfin, Chilastra, etc. seem to be the few that have enough players to PvP on a more 'consistent' basis. What ever you decide, I wish you well.
PvP only? Please....
Most of my time in game is PvE. Such as questing on Mustafar/Kashyyyk, space activities, DWB, random Corvette runs for AV parts, cantina crawls, armour crafting, house pimping, etc. There's always something I can be doing but it just depends on what sort of things you find fun.
The game won't be shutting down in a long time, so don't worry about that
While I can in no way at all understand Obraik's enjoyment of this former great MMORPG, at least he seems reasonable. (Kind of a rare gem of the NGE crowd.)
Waitin for you to churn out the big GCW / CU3 so you, me and the other 10 people playing galaxies can spend 3 hours looking for eachother! Wooha!
What Obraik failed to mention is that you need expansions to quest on the lava blob or the wookie home world.
You missed out "Slaming your private parts in a desk draw whilst saluting a picture of John Smedley with his cheesiest grin and singing God Bless the next revamp (otherwise known as the combat prototype, thought that describe SWG post CU until now very well!)".
Alternativly you could purchase EVE online instead, good PvP and the free trial doesn't try to shield you from the real game unlike SWG!

My 2 cents...
If you do try the game, for the love of g*d, skip the tutorial. Unless you have a strange desire to see a badly voiced over Han Solo (the ONLY voiced over character in the entire game), it offers you nothing but a bunch of kill task.

Yeah, I get my hands dirty most nights and participate in PvP, but Rebels tend to have a habit of running away when they've been beaten a few times or come back with 4x as many and it sorta dies off from there
On a different topic, some people here seem to have too much of an interest in, ahem, areas below the waist
Bioware's SW MMO is all you should worry about now.
