hello all
im kinda new here and i dont know if this is where im ment to post.
well i was just wondering if anyone knows games like runescape (web based) and free?
nothing that you have to buy, and i dont mind if i have to download it but as long as its free and its mmorpg ofcourse, or maybe just a online game doesnt have to be rpg...

Why do you say "Runescape sucks"??
I have read comments like this before but never heard anyone back up their words with some actual data to give their words merit. I've only played MMOG's for nearly a year, so perhaps I'm no judge of a good game, but who better to judge what I find entertaining than me?
Do you say the game "sucks" because the game does not fit your play style?
If this is the case then perhaps you could say so and be more fair to those whose play style is different than your own.
If the game is flawed in your opinion then I would appreciate reading your findings.
If the game "sucks" then why are there over one hundred thousand players online playing at almost any given time?
Presently I am playing Runescape, and while there is some content in the game that I do not prefer, there is enough that I agree with to keep me playing and I would never say it "sucks". It is simply a game offering what it is and what it has.
In fact I think the folks at Jagex Ltd should be commended! They offer generous gameplay for FREE to those who cannot pay or choose not to, no questions asked. I appreciate their efforts and have chosen to support them with my measley five bucks. I think I get my money's worth and hope to see more similar options from other companies in the future.
I really and sincerely would appreciate hearing WHY you or anyone else thinks the game "sucks".

You my friend, have said exactly what i've been trying to say everytime someone says Runescape sucks. Even though I no longer play the game, it was my first mmorpg and it was the best one. It had way more to do than most of the others and it had an excellent pvp system. The only downside of this was the community.
I ask myself one question though:
Why did UO get so much praise but Runescape was left in the dust? I personally enjoyed RS way more than UO even though I played both at around the same time.
It is a pretty fun game, but not really like runescape, being that shadowbane is all pvp.
