Well it looks like if FLS can just put their game out or open beta soon they will grab a ton or more people from teh SOE fiasco happening with Vanguard. What a great oppurtunity to grap some more folks...I suggest you take advantage of this as thousands of SWG refugees were looking for Vanguard to be their next game and now that is down the drain...SWG Refugee's want ntohing to do with SOE...

So two things...take advantage of this by letting the refugee's know you have something for them

and dont EVER go into bed with SOE.

We have enough Youth, How about a Fountain of Intelligence?

    i cant wai for this game. It will actually have smuggling from launch day :)

    with pirates 2 and 3 due out later this year and next and possibly more pirate related films etc seems Potbs has come along at the right time.

    My only worry could be the amount of Jack Sparrow wannabe's walking around.

    The ship combat sounds awesome and the fact that youd need a full crew (npc or human) to operate it says to me that this game will not wander from the timeframe its set in.

    Disneys developing a Pirates of the Carribean MMO, so most of the Jack Sparrows will flock there I would think.

    More bad news... the Disney MMORPG won't be ready until next year.  Therefore, you might get some Jack Sparrowannabes in PotBS.  I maybe the only hard-core MMORPGer that doesn't actually mind newbies.  I actually like a diverse population.

    Just did another poll amongst some friends and fellow SWG refugees and well with a bad review about Roma Victor from some beta testing friends...looks like PotBS just needs to put out a half way decent game and they will get a ton of subs...

    no one I know wants to touch anything to do with SOE so Vanguard and Gods and Heroes are out of the question...

    Legend of Ares is not enough to satisfy their thirst from the open beta try out this past weekend

    Roma Victor too many bad reviews from Beta Testers and word of mouth

    DnL started out bad word of mouth

    so they said to me PotBS is the way to go...just patiently waiting for open beta and release
