    They gotta do something. While EVE does well, it's slowly losing players and CCP is in a terrible position by not having another product to fall back on.

    CCP isn't going to abandon their dream to abandon EVE. Or at least its PC version.

    Looks like they are porting the ship models directly from eve. That's my first internet spaceship tru lurv, the dominix, on the front page. I hope they keep the integrity of the eve world.

    I don't think making the game is too bad of an idea unless it shunts devs off the main game. CCP might ve viewing the mobile game as a good starting point to enter the MMO.

    My guess is this goes hand in hand with their recently announced partnership with Netease to increase popularity of EVE in China as well.

    I have been with EvE since 2004, 3 accounts in total.

    And one thing I have wanted most of the time, was a way to pve to my hearts content, but not only in the boring safe space already existing, im talking 0.5 and below.

    OH that would make me come back in a heartbeat!

    I use to RDP Eve Online on the first android phone ever created.
