Your biggest MMO hopefuls?

in The Pub at MMORPG.COM
which game(s) are you most anticipating for launch?  For me, I am pretty much set on Ashes of Creation, the node technology is very interesting to me as well as IS seems to be very invested in making this game.  Plus, they’ve made references to replicating parts of SWG crafting system :)

Honorable mention would have to be Crowfall.

    EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests

    Crowfall is the only game on the horizon with a full proof of concept, active testing, and constant addition/evolution to that.  For that reason it's the only one I really care about.

    Only Pantheon that I can remember. There might be one or two that I noted at some point, especially if they were an Asian game in development.

    None of them.  I think Crowfall and Pantheon are the only one that seems like it is a sure to be released.  Maybe Ashes of Creation.  Camelot has been in development for a long time and does not look impressive at all.

    I don't believe that a game that can rejuvenate the genre has started development yet.  Of all those I know about, none are really all that impressive.  There may be unknown games in development keeping their heads low, but I doubt it.

    Edit: Actually I am excited by Star Citizen (best MMO/virtual world concept ever), but I am afraid it will never release.

    Star Citizen looks unbelievably in-depth, but maybe too much for my liking.  I'd give it a try, but like you said, doesn't look like it will come out.

    I don't get excited about any MMOs anymore, too many disappointments...If something actually launches and has a free to try/play option, then I might take a look.

    In order of excitement from most to least, with Star Citizen being a moderately excited.

    1. Star Citizen
    2. Pantheon: Rise of the Falln
    3. Ashes of Creation
    4. Chronicles of Elyria
