Like, you had to think of them in that way for you to get such a conclusion out of something that most others would only see as benign. Iunno.
I don't even know how to respond to a post this absurd.

Lolis are an established trope. You don't need to mentally construe/draw conclusions to know a loli when you see it. And no, most others don't see this as benign. On the BDO reddit the most upvoted posts are condemning this, and the most downvoted are saying it's perfectly ok.

BDO is a highly sexualized game where you can run around in skimpy outfits or turn your clothes off entirely to run around in lingerie. A class that looks like a 3 year old doesn't belong in a game like this.

From giving the reddit a glance, it actually seems like the weirdos raving about it are being called out at this point.

So actually yes, most others do seem to see it as benign. It's only the ones that are making leaps in logic. Seeing as the Shai have actually been in game for some time prior to being a player race, and what's been presented of the shop and it's usual "sexualized" content has apparently been intentionally toned down dramatically for the character's already (there's a reddit thread talking about some glances at the marketplace and how the lingere you mention even goes as far as being turned into pyjamas instead).

Which leaves the point that much of this seeming outrage is currently being spun out by nothing other than one's own imagination, it would seem. You should tone down those lewd thoughts perhaps.

Just not sure what the goal of your obsessions are.

I think this are the buffs for self and allies:

I could see them being buff bots in Node Wars tbh.

Go crazy with stacking DP on them, and just heal and buff.

In PvE... I kinda gotta agree with Kano, not much use for them, sadly... unless they really change the game.

    Heavy buffer class for what?

There's no content in game that requires any heavy buffing whatsoever right now.

If they wanted to make "heavy buffing" a thing - they'd have to retrofit the entire PvE aspect of the game.

I doubt they will do that just to make one class relevant - especially since out of the current 17 classes only about 5 are relevant in PvP combat to begin with - so the track record from pearl abyss about making all classes matter sucks.

So while having a heavy support class would be pretty cool - the reality is there's next to zero chance of this actually happening.
If you are in a guild then having a support class for guild boss missions etc is very useful, witches etc. can group heal to some degree, but more is needed. Also handy for PVP node wars, i don't know why people look down so much on support classes, they may not be as useful for those who solo, but when it comes to group content, which most certainly exists in BDO, they are useful. :)

It'll be a boon for the more casual guilds during stuff like Mirumok, yeah. But the reason the hardcore with their ridiculously high GS sneer at the class is because they just power through it with their gear. They don't need the support.

I don't doubt that they do, but, and here i can only use my own experience in Eve Online, battles are often won through tactical use of logistics (support). It remains to be seen though whether such a thing like that can happen in BDO.  :/

1min cooldown on that heal - 200hp every 6 seconds is pretty weak - unless you can get like 10 shai and the heals all stack - BUT we know that's not how stacking buffs work in BDO.

Yeah about that - seems pretty useless

Solo lifeskill class is what shai is
Yeh but keep in mind, the 200hp every 5 sec for 60 sec with a 60 sec cd is based from a level 3 shai.

    The shift+E does this:

But I have no idea what it does :P

Havent played for real in while but isnt the crit rate (30sec) buff nice and from what I remember getting rage can be fast?

I have only played a little bit during launch time. Is it possible to enjoy the game casually as a solo player, or does that only lead to frustration? I don’t care about max level or any form of endgame. I just really like the world.

It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

It is just huge resource waste....'

    You can do it, yeah.
As long as you don't obsess over the heavily P2W PvP aspects of the game, you can have fun with it.

You can, personally i play the game quite a bit. My own gameplay revolves around trading, sailing and travelling around the world. Will state up front that i have crafted my own epheria sailboat with blue mods, and forest path wagon, also with mods, both these things are invaluable for 'trading' and take a significant amount of time and effort to construct. The world is worth travelling around and experiencing, doing so as a trader is probably one of the most relaxing ways to play the game, i can't really comment on PVP, as despite being level 62 now, i have almost no experience with it, the only reason my Trader character is level 62 is because of 'overnight' afk training using the training dummies, only the last 1% was gained through actual 'mob grinding' so i have little to say on that too.  ;)

The classes all feel the same to me, except maybe the witch/wizard......Also I got to 56 and didn't feel like going any further because the grind is so boring and does get monotonous after awhile.

I managed to get to 61 on my main - I have all other 17 classes at 56 (few are at 57/58).

I can get a new class from 0-56 on a few hours, so i will probably do that with shai just to see how the awakening is and then park her permanently at 56.

There is nothing fun PvE wise above 56 imo

Lol how do you do 0-56 in a few hours?

pretty easily, I can attest to this 0 - 56 is a breeze if you know what you are doing shouldn't take more than 2 1/2 hrs

I think thats a drastic exageration, in reality you will need at least 30-40 hours to get to level 56. of course, i have only been playing for a few years so don't take my word for it :p

Its all about the crafting grind fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail success!

Okay now just add like 10k more fails in there for one piece of gear and your all good.  Feel free to throw as much money as you want at the cash shop to try and make it less mentally disturbing.

    Such a wonderful experience......

You can transfer good gear to a lvl 1. Once you do that and if you know what you are doing, you're good to go.

You can see now what the odds are for any upgrade attempt, so while you can attempt at sub 60% you will definitely fail a lot, building up failstacks is integral to successful upgrade attempts, fortunately as a trader i make a lot of silver so i just 'buy' gear, its less stressful and takes far less preparation, though spending over a billion silver certainly 'hurts' its a few weeks worth of trading after all. :p
