  Very good that they are moving away from these dastardly practices, hopefully other developers will follow suit. I wouldn't hold my breath though.

  Good to see this team doing this, I appreciate being able to buy things in POE at face value rather than rely on "surprise mechanics" to obtain them because, surprises can be bad, m'kay?
  
  Also, while POE sells mystery boxes they don't clutter my inventory by dropping everywhere in the game world for me to have to discard or dispose of, so are easily ignored.
