Gankers Paradise

Played this game when it first went beta... Kept getting ganked by unseen players.. Stopped playing because I couldn't go anywhere without getting ganked.

Decided to play it again a year later. Still getting ganked.. I guess the developers don't care that ganking is a major turn off for many players. In fact, rather tha taking steps to prevent it, they incorporate into the game by allowing you to report your so called "murderer" to local authorities. The only problem being, you won't live long enough to report it cause you will get ganked again before you can report it.

So I gave up on this game 2 days before it went commercial. So unless you a masochist and enjoy being ganked everytime you step outside, stay away from this horrible game.

BTW, the mission selections are horrible. Two days before the game went commercials, there was only 1 player created mission available to join.. How can they release this game with no content. All the missions are player created. You have to be a high level to create a mission. Advancing is nearly impossible with all the ganking going on.

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention... The one that ganked me was a law enforcement agent.. The ones supposedly trying to protect you....  Nice...

There will always be gankers in any game, and I feel that this is a Biased opinion.

If you were a BoS or a Merc there is always a good chance and LED will kill you and viceversa.

If you were a corp, they are always fighting each other so the same applies,

Hell, even the Pacifist GoMs have enemies and will get killed, stick with your faction and you don't get ganked, simple eh?

As it turns out I played as the military faction which are supposed to be allied with the LED. Most games do have PvP.. but the good ones make it an option and clearly state to players that they are in a PvP zone. Usually away from the general population. FoM does not warn you. The only safe place is near a LED automated gun turrent.

If PvP was optional instead of mandatory, then maybe this game would be more enjoyable.

This game is supposed to have an edge to it.  I agree it can be really hard on new players particularly if they choose a faction that is not friendly to new players.  Once you learn to run with the crowd you are a lot safer and can enjoy the game more.

Look I understand you feelings it bad to get ganked. However everyone can join the police for an start ganking. That is why the player themselves (LED and FDC, and most other factions) have some internal division with take care of such things. You can make an screenshot of them and send in you picture. They will be fine with money of  PP and will have to spend time in the prison if they get fined PP. If it happens more often they will be kicked from the faction.

Luckely most faction dont like random ganking. However I have never been ganked. I'm known in the game now, but even when I was new and was not know. I have never been really ganked or something, especialy not by the LED.

However if you play this game try to stick close to you faction members and fight side by side. I have been FDC for months now and I can tell you, they will come when they know you are being ganked and you report that though ventrillo.

The game aint that bad, it only have an very high learning curve. Mostly becouse this game is skilled base and not the standard, keep pressing F1 till the NPC dies.
