Everything is about to change drastically in the next year of updates to Warframe. Grab your ticket to Mars on Elon Musk’s upcoming Space X launch, because Warframe is about to take you and your squad to the next open world. Oh, and you might need to operate the Railjack guns because space is not a relaxing drive.

It's like they are still a small, borderline bankrupt indie studio circa 2013 - and still cannot afford any non-repulsive character graphics.
Thank you for your time!
Never really had a complaint about the graphics myself, thought it was a neat departure to use the bio-technic approach to things, and the more alien aesthetic to things that serves to describe a future/alternate history where technology of that sort has proliferated. The use of more organic shapes combined with all the greebles made it stand out in a way I personally enjoy for being somewhat unique.
With their engine upgrades, they have regularly made a point of pushing detail and the revamps have had mechanical value as much as cosmetic.
So I can understand people being put off by the aesthetic if they are looking for the familiar, but I would have a hard time ever considering the technical quality of them to be anything other than competitive with some of the most current AAA titles. Given Warframe has worked to redesign their particle/physics, they have moved to employ PBR, and the geometric detail stable poly-count has steadily increased over time.
Can say ya don't like the style, and that's fine. I'ma just have to question if/when one tries to deride the graphics on a technical level.
Isn't that exceptionally harsh? I think the strides they have made to improve this game have been nothing short of amazing. If they continue down the road they're on, they have a player for life in me.
I will grant you, I've had others I have tried to turn to the game be turned off by the graphics. But most are put off by the controls. Those few that have stuck with it, however, tended to end up loving it more and more as they play with the graphics falling by the wayside. Certainly helped by the almost limitless customization options you have for almost everything.
It's a fantastic game, with an unique set of characters and story backed up by pretty interesting background lore. The only thing that truly kneecaps it is the reliance on RNG mechanics that are sometimes just overwhelming and the lack of in-game tutorials to explain the many esoteric gameplay mechanics.
Also which character models you referring to @Syphin_B ?
No fate but what we make, so make me a ham sandwich please.
Black Desert's graphics remaster was jawdroppingly good and definitely made me come back. And I'm looking forward to Blade & Soul's UE4 upgrade.
LOOOOL. I died at the driftwood comment.
Warframe is F2P right now and Destiny 2 will be shortly so why not try them both? The Division 2 is great but it might get abandoned like Div 1 once another sequel comes along.
Is a man not entitled to the herp of his derp?
Remember, I live in a world where juggalos and yugioh players are real things.
