I won't be playing that Siren. That accent will haunt my dreams.

Wasn't really a fan of BL2 (only got to about level 20) and with this one being an Epic Store exclusive means it's going to be a hard pass. Plus Randy Pitchford is a douche bag of the highest order so I don't feel like giving him any of my money.

Borderlands 3 fixes my largest issue with Borderlands. That being that despite being co op games first and foremost, with miserable solo experiences, Borderlands 1 and 2 very much punish co op play with their shared loot. No one likes a loot thief, and Borderlands games are already quite stingy with their higher quality loot despite the lack of any economy or competitive element.

Borderlands 3's instanced personal loot is a huge and essential improvement, and it is baffling that the series has gone this long without it.

It's tempting but yeah, hard pass from me as well. No Steam No Buy, I'll pick it up in 6 months later when it releases on Steam.

My 4 cents, Borderland 3 seemingly is heading into 1/4 in the door to a BR mode which mean always online requirement, which WILL ruin it for me. Personally its the humors and butt loads of loots/guns/lvl design/story and don't need online to play the game is what got me liking Borderland series. However, now with this crap twitch integration, the only time I want to watch a game is if they doing something that I can do myself.

So here is a question did Twitch hand them a butt load of money to add that thing in? Just a reminder esport haven't exactly taken over the world so is not a thing yet, so O_o games are now a sitcom for the masses? I would think I want to play BL3 more than to watch it like most ppl would rather do, so why even add that junk?

At anyrate, I know its a minor thing but the idea of such crap gets added into something we all enjoy seems like an invasion of our personal space. This twitch crap could be and might as well be spyware or tracking your life, so for gearbox to start data mining us is nothing ethically wrong right? I already know ESO is more of a spyware than a mmo so is BL joining that ship?

Gearbox is making me edgy for their future games if BL3 features included such twitch junk, next they might be adding more to the party like EPIC/EA/CIA/FBI/any sort agency/companies to the list of they spy on you applet eh? Don't ever think that is a thing? For ppl who lack foresight/consideration for others will start with the little things and seemingly adding more shady crap into our game if we let them like DLC/lootbox/day1dlc/pay for beta o_O?!/mtx/and here we are all kinds of crap into our games.

I guess all this is just me, I guess I'll be seeing all of you on twitch (for the love of gaming goodness gaming sitcom anybody, seriously?).

    Completely disagree with that.

I'll be playing Borderlands 3 solo intentionally for my first play through. After that it becomes a co-op playground on the higher difficulties. But I'll try to do the hardest stuff solo too, for personal challenge.

Other people really mess up the flow of the humour.. either by starting/completing missions and picking up new echoes which interrupts voiceovers that are already playing or by talking over them themselves. I like to do a story playthrough first so that other people don't spoil it.

But, yes, I've been saying for years on all Gearbox's posts that they need personal loot. That was the biggest problem with the co-op experience.

Twitch/Youtube is insanely popular with younger generations. I have younger cousins that watch Fortnite and COD more than they actually play it themselves. I don't understand it but that's what gaming culture is like these days. Gearbox are just keeping up with the times.

We get it. You don't like Epic. You don't like Randy. You don't like Borderlands. You don't like Twitch.

I don't see it always being necessary, but as a person who regularly plays with friends and family that will aggressively pillage everything in sight it's amazingly useful in the game not becoming awkwardly imbalanced in gearing.

I LOVE Borderlands, and will definitely buy it.

I just hope they care more about great gameplay instead of Twitch Streaming leaderboards....

That still remains to be seen. Maybe you're right. We'll see.
I'm just going by what's been said, anything else is just being cynical. They've already stated they will not be selling golden chest keys, which is something I thought they might do.

Gearbox is paying attention to the little things. This is great stuff.

As someone with a strong accent myself she can haunt me any day of the year. The game is not out and she's already my main. I've always played the Siren, except for BL1 because Brick was too awesome not to choose him.

The series has some nice personalities/humor but as a game,i don't think it is very good.

Streaming,i don't see it,i wouldn't want to watch anyone stream this. What will happen is the same for ANY game,a few popular streamers will vault it up the charts for a short while "maybe one month" then it will disappear as a streaming game.

Social game,i don't see this what so ever, not a chance.

"Accessibility features"Not sure what this is all about, people will simply play the game and play through as fast as they can. After that i doubt it would be much fun to play a second time because to me the graphics are not very good so seeing once is cool but that is enough. Some will call this an art style ,maybe it is but it is low quality art and still i did not see any indication in the past games of it being visually appealing,so it is a once play through then it collects dust,IF it could hold my interest that long "i doubt it".

Personally i don't enjoy playing games that have a purpose to "beat the game",i enjoy all other aspects of gaming which are far too many to name but mostly the fun aspect, interaction, nice places to explore visually, micro managing, open ended game play instead of linear, longevity, replayability etc etc.
