The latest Starbase video to explore some of the game's features is out, this time about "rental lots". Rental lots are Starbase's player housing, a player's starbase to call home. The video lays out the details on how a player can achieve ownership of a starbase and what types of features can be added to it such as a landing platform, storage and "business" space, and much more.

You know i will spit it out if i feel something ..good news,i don"t see any problems here...yet.
Naturally with so many bad devs/publishers,so much deception i had to do some checking out.
So this dev team is against p2w,seems they are not about to throw in a heavy cash shop and that is good news.Soon i saw mention in the video of "credits"i was very skeptical,so for now all seems good.
I always believe every game should have some form of living quarters and this game is attacking that idea, good job. However we should also make note, there is indication they will add some cash shop, claims of never stepping over the line so that in game will always be better than cash shop,ok seems legit, good on paper, time will tell.
It is too bad this is a space game, those are the toughest games to pull off a realistic feeling universe.
However in the past i have also mentioned that the proper way to do a small game studio is to start small but do a very good job with the "small".
So the game has living, space stations, interiors but not likely different landing planets or different races etc etc.I am interested to see how they deliver this out of the box,is it good enough for a starting game,an idea i thought of when Eve released.
Why mention Eve,well Eve went through a LOT of years of making good profits but NOT listening, not addressing design ideas people asked for and just remained a STAGNANT pvp game.
There is a boat load of stuff you can do in a space game,no excuses, this game appears to be starting on a decent note,we will see how it unfolds over time, hopefully better than Eve.
