When is next solo starwars game ? XD
This November. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Fun bit of trivia. It's actually releasing on the same day as when the "New Game Enhancements" (NGE) released in Star Wars Galaxies in 2005, effectively starting the games burial of itself, so let's hope Fallen Order isn't as bad as the NGE was lol.

Or you pay a monthly subscription.

The key to enjoying SWTOR is to play it like a single player game. If you are looking for a Star Wars multiplayer experience you'll be disappointed.

I agree with you, only a single mode.

You can get the CE edition for $5 at a second hand shop and sell it for probably $20 maybe $100 if it's in good enough condition.

I wouldn't bother to play this game without a subscription and I have always subbed whenever I went back to it.

Playing when they have the mega-experience story events is awesome, otherwise no thanks. If I could only play story without crappy side questing it would be great.

@viper482 You must not of played for a long time. Because it's pretty much this way for almost 2 years now. If you sub you can pretty much do nothing but main story quests to 50.

Well, such changes are always good, I guess..? Me myself completed main story by almost every class and I'd be more than happy to see more players enjoying story-oriented MMOs

F2P gamers will always be a bane on the community and need to be remembered in any game engine or they will bleed your resources dry. They have nothing to live for and so spend all their time gaming on your dime.

Love people crying because they can’t play all of a game for free lmao. If you don’t want to pay the $15 a month to help pay the devs for their work then move on. 30 days of entertainment is worth the price of 2 lattes. I remember the days when you couldn’t even log in to mmo servers without a sub. You kids have it easy.

Then do it. Offering a subpar experience labeling it as Free 2 play is hardly fair or justified. Call it what it is: A limited experience, or a demo - but that doesn't sounds good, and appealing, right?

Hardly fair? What isn’t “fair” about letting you play for FREE! No matter how limited it is you still get to do plenty without paying a dime. Entitled millennials think they should get everything for free. Do you work for free too? If not you surely don’t expect the devs to.

People still say shit like this? lol

You do know what purpose those F2P players you seem to detest so much serve, don't you? They keep the games we sub to from becoming ghost towns.

SWTOR would have shut down years ago if it weren't for those "freeloaders."

But there is a whole range of treatment of those F2P players ranging from very good with few limits as is the case in ESO to the shitty system SWTOR has had ever since they converted.

I guess making it slightly less shitty is something to cheer lol.

BTW... I only play 1 MMORPG at a time and it's always with a sub (currently ESO.)

I played SWTOR at release and for 18 moths after. I went back once after they went F2P as a "preferred" player and didn't even last a month. I might have stayed longer but their F2P and preferred system just totally put me off... /shrug, no biggie.

But you dude, you need a serious attitude adjustment toward those folks who are keeping your precious alive and kicking.

I'll return when they remove that stupid currency cap. You can't buy anything with 250,000 credits, so no point in playing.
...or you can always pay...oh, wait...

The problem with this is it doesn't really feel like you are playing, but just following a script and going through the motions.
