There are tons of fun power set combination options in City of Heroes, but some that stand out above the rest. These are a few fun combos for the Brute.

I love it, but the lack of healing drives me insane. I'm actually considering taking Aid Self for the first time in years. How do you deal with it? Just pop greens? Or are you taking Aid Self?
I don't typically play armor sets that don't have some sort of self healing. The only time I ever really did that was my Electric Armor Brute back during the live game and it was pretty painful at times. Thankfully, Elec armor has Energize now.
My current favorite brute build is Savage Melee/Willpower. It's a good mix and I can tear into stuff without much downtime. I had tried the Street Just/Willpower version but the low levels didn't impress me particularly. (and the visuals sure weren't as cool) I might give that another go as a scrapper.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the spines/fire combo that has been the FotM for... well, years, I guess. I've tried one of those but it didn't take. I hadn't considered the titan/elec combo though. It definitely sounds interesting. I've got a bio armor/titan weapons tanker right now that's itching for some play as well.
You could always become besties with someone that has a healing power such as: Transfusion from Kinetics (great for melee players), Twilight Grasp from Dark Miasma (not so great for melee players), O2 Boost from Storm Summoning, Frostwork from Cold Domination, Regrowth from Nature Affinity, Radiant Aura from Radiation Emission, Warmth and Cauterize from Thermal Radiation, Temporal Mending from Time Manipulation, Triage Beacon from Traps or everyone's favorite healing set - Empathy.
Seriously, there's plenty of options. Your brute should be doing most of the damage anyway so running a duo or trio with at least one defender, corruptor or controller shouldn't be too much of a hassle for you.

your goal is to get your lethal and smashing res as high as possible (70+), other res in their 30's at least and get your important def (lethal,smashing and energies) in the 40% using IO sets + incarnate abilities and you will never need a heal in your life.
He also really likes Sentinel's. Alot.

By all means not that I care, but when in the past some people tried to discuss WoW private servers and Warhammer ones, the threads were deleted and users warned.

I dont care about the game itself, but I do care whether we are allowed to discuss private servers or not, because I wanted to post about some other well beloved games that have private servers too, and it seems threads get deleted asap.

And I click on CoX threads because I like the game.... That has nothing to do with whether or not I find the whole situation legally ambigious.
Please don’t read things that aren’t there, you make the assumption that I am on higher moral grounds, I don’t care about any of that. I did however make a joke in my original post that I had to choose my words carefully because people might get upset and judging by your reaction and that of others I was right. Very long toes around here.

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

I didn't mention it because I was trying to focus more on fun combos. Some powerful combinations are also fun (DM/DA, SS/Fire), but I don't find Spines/Fire fun. Spines/Fire is super effective for farming, but I find it terribly boring. SS/Fire is also great for farming, but you get to uppercut people into the ceiling and stomp everyone onto the floor while you torch 'em.

the aoe is a lot more spammable and doesn't have the annoyingly high cast time that spine does and the damage buff doesn't have the horrible downside that rage has for super strength (the nerf to rage was just too much imo). plus you get extra damage from stacking rad attacks and the inherent defense debuffs on hit.
