"Player Made Content" is a a popular concept in gaming now days. It's been around for ages but from the time of Minecraft it really grew with the voxel gaming genre.
But how has this concept in MMO gaming evolved with the new aged technologies for the MMO genre?

Fortnite wasn't even finished and became the most popular game,Star Citizen barely even began and became the most popular sci game.Player made content is just a matter of rearranging the assets,a very boring concept.
So now i look at modding and it seems most relevant in survival games.Voxels might make it easier to implement ideas for the developer but a pile of lego blocks is like taking a step backwards rather than forwards.
Bottom line,i do not see any ideas incoming to improve upon modding, that will remain the best asset to gamer's but still an idea not catered to well enough by developers. You would THINK catering to ideas to allow players to do the work for you would becommon sense for devs but to them it is a matter of WHY.
WHY should they go that extra mile when they can make millions operating a pvp map in FN or a few maps and selling heroes in Overwatch,a few heroes in HOTS,way easier to do less work and make more money now a days, thanks to terrible consumers.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.

I've been through peer review, editing, and a final submission process in order to get content I made into a live MMORPG.
