Thanks to him (Rapp), the career of a major and beloved actor has been ruined and tarnished. This actor is pretty much persona non grata in Hollywood while Rapp still gets to parade around acting like he did nothing wrong. Shame on ARC and STO for allowing such a liar and horrible person access to such a nice franchise. I for one will NOT be installing STO any time soon.

I expect maintaining the license doesn't allow much wiggle room when the owner of the material calls on you to contribute to their cause.

Perfect World didn't create this mess, but likely have no choice other than contribute to it.

Even more DSC content doesn't please me, but by reading the blog it seems it will be only 1 new episode, lol, so not that much new content like it or lump it & I'm sure some players enjoy the DSC no matter what.

The other additions like Patrols & TFOs seems more of Cryptic's re-shuffling of content, like Cryptic has been doing more of over the last year, compared to actually adding content besides more gambling opportunities, but the "new rewards" sounds promising but since no details yet promises promises.

I haven't seen all of the DSC series so I'm not sure how the Elachi play into DSC content.

Since all the legal stuff with Spacey, others, & this Rapp I do find it a bit uncomfortable at most viewing him in the episodes I've seen & it does briefly switch my focus from the episode to me thinking about Rapp's involvement, but same with viewing Spacey's work now. I don't know all of the legal details though & I still appreciate Rapp's acting contribution just like I don't mind going back & still viewing some of Spacey's performances.

This info. blog didn't really make me enthusiastic about this future effort, but nothing negative neither.

As far as the series is concerned, they don't. That's an STO specific development.

And honestly I would be less concerned about the legal bouts of one actor versus the legal problems of the series, as far as the ongoing plagiarism case is concerned. Kinda hoping STO is able to diverge from the series content to make something not associated with that lawsuit bait.
