Hey, i was wondering if some one could explain what pvp is...that would help a lot considering i have no clue what ppl are talking about as soon as the mention pvp...image

     Player versus player. So basically you fighting someone else in real life.

    PvP is Player vs Player in relation to PvE as Player vs Environment; a mixture can also be found of both.

    so u mean that there are like no "monsters"? only players to kill?

    ok i get it, thanks guys. So pvp is where there are no monsters just players that u can fight and kill, and pve is where u can fight wild monsters and animals.

    In a sense, yes. However, in PvP there are also PvE elements, usually. Like the PvP servers for EQLive. There are also arenas on the PvE servers (and PvP) which are PvP.

    Mutli-User Dungeon. MudConnector.com is a good place to look some nice ones up.

    It's a text based game which was basically the starting of MMOs. It has, similiar to MMOs, a community which play together all the time and, as well, is usually being constantly updated.
