Western Digital unveiled a brand-new line-up of drives catering to console and PC gamers at Gamescom this week. Capacity and speed are the name of the game as the company revealed three new external drives to join the SN750 NVMe SSD in the all-new WD_Black series.

    I'm curious why they state the 5TB and 8TB externals can only hold "up to" 125 and 200 games respectively. That would require the average game to be 41GB which, isn't uncommon these days but to state a cap like that seems a bit misleading and not in their favor.

    Aye, I have been using some external drives (seagate) for gaming but having to use a powered Hub, the external drives may be ok but can only go as fast as the hub allows. Since your limited in USB ports on motherboards. Also each hub can only safely take 2 or 3 external drives (bigger the drive is, lower the hub can take)

    Very informative study. I think this article will be very useful for every young computer engineer for his university studies and assignments. Of course, they can check over here the help and buy assignments online and use their time more rationally. But students are not looking for easy ways.
