    Game devs are the worst try-hards one can imagine. Fortnite got $3B in a year - everyone is implementing battle royale + game pass just to find out nobody want these stinky features in their game.

    If anything, season passes made me quit two games this year alone. First, they ask for ~$10/month, then force you to work in their game for hour(s), daily - or miss the main prize. Alternatively you can just give up on the prize - and the game. Which is an obvious choice.

    and this is why im not jumping all over the new expansion right out of the gate I knew this crap would happen seems they may have divorced activision but inherited all the worst habbits.

    Except for 10$ u get the current season/expansion and all its content AND premium this premium battle pass as an extra way of getting gear / items so idk how do all these ppl in comments think its "scummy " and jumping on bandwagon of battle passes , also gain rates are aproximetly 1hr per 1 lvl and its 10 weeks long so u have enough time to get everything you want.

    Personally I dont see the issue with all this. If its a game you are into, actively playing and enjoying, the option to pay 10$ a month for a pass and all the content that comes with it seems fine to me. that or pay for it outright for 30-40$, personally, if i was playing and keeping up with the game id just sub to the game pass.

    Nice. I might jump back in with the new cross-save feature. I would just make the switch in general if it wasn't for the fact that i'd lose my exotics.

    the fuck you guys complaining about? Its going free to play.. they need to make money. I really like the pubg/fortnite level rewards systems.. it gives incentive to do things and work towards. So tired of the complainers having to "buy something" to keep a game alive.. fuck right off please.

    Step right up,get your seasons pass for a game that should have been a one off sale and NOTHING more.
    Wait your actions will show change at the end of seasons,so make sure to buy each seasons pass.

    This is NOT a MMORG game,you do not sell seasons passes or ANY other type of monetization beyond the initial sale of the game.This is what publishers and devs do in this era of gaming because loads and loads of suckers out there to buy in.
    IDK why others are playing these games,i play them for FUN,i do NOT need a reward system>if the game needs some sort of reward system or esport or ladder or some form of bragging system,then the game is obviously NOT good enough to stand on it's own two feet.
    But wait do those immersion ruining markers still show up in the middle of the screen,good thing people need that hand holding or they might get lost.

    It might be helpful if they focused on improving the ridiculously shallow gameplay beyond going to various locations and shooting them up.

    Literally claiming it's an action mmo.

    The season pass is basically an optional subscription to the game. Don't see any problem.

    No I think its the same group of shareholders infesting the entirety of Triple A developers/publishers causing this mess, I just had high hopes that once they were out of the clutches of activision they would have shown some independence and brought the game out of the mtx death spiral that it was in instead they have opted to add fuel to the fire.

    This is the biggest problem Destiny has had with its gameplay since the first game launched. It is very polished but extremely shallow.
