I recently had the chance to go hands-on with Ghost Recon Breakpoint at a preview event held in San Francisco in August. So then, let’s take a look at what I liked and disliked during my time with Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Comments
Ghost Recon games have always been a rather mixed bag with a couple of excellent exceptions. But I do recommend the franchise, they solidly do it their way. I don't pay much attention to games before they come out so only skimmed the review, my concern was we might be getting some FPS franchise creep. By which I mean whatever is seen as good in one shooter ends up In the others with seemingly little thought on how that new gameplay will effect the game as a whole. But we shall see when the launch reviews come out.
Not every game works well with a keyboard/mouse. I play lost ark with a controller and it's ? times better than kb/m. I couldn't even imagine trying to play stuff like Prince of Persia or any serious platformer with a kb/m. Racing games and space shooters also are hands down better with controller.
In War - Victory.
In Peace - Vigilance.
In Death - Sacrifice.
Racing games with a keyboard and mouse are atrocious. Thus, I use a controller, or a wheel. So, yes, there are completely valid reasons to use controllers (or any peripheral for that matter on PC).
Additionally, this wasn't a review. It was preview of incomplete code which I mention several times throughout. I recommend reading it closer as there is quite a lot of detail I cover, some of which may be of interest to you.
This analysis is sound.
its meh, but with lots of bugs still, like getting stuck while sliding down a slope or falling through the ground while laying down or getting killed by roaming NPC`s on your campsite while exiting your camp.
These are just a few but game breaking and they have only 1 month to fix them all besides the connection issues they still have in coop and even in solo play
