    i wouldnt care about epic either (i use epic) but randy pitchford was a douche about this and hyped up all this exclusivity stuff trying to hide his own skeletons in his closet of shame. also he is just a bad liar and a bad magician plus epic as a platform lacks features and security (accounts have been hacked now how many times now not mine personally)

    gearbox deserves 100% of the profite steam was about to rip em off. would you rather gearbox get money for borderlands 4 or not as much.

    Nintendo executives seem to have basic moral standards, so I imagine he wouldn't get along with them.

    Yeah I think it's the reason why EA said that they won't bring their products to switch either
    And the quality of the Switch's library is better for their absence. If only it could also lose those shovelware 2K sports games.

    Borderlands is known for poking fun at all types of things in gaming and entertainment. I always viewed "edgelord" as someone trying to be dark and edgy but it coming off as contrived and corny.

    That's why it's so funny because Rage 2 suffers from the same condition only a bit worse even.
    lol yeah. But I do find R2's pretty funny and there are quite a few of them too.

    im hearing mixed thoughts on BL3 especially about its humour and some of the bugs like loss of progress, (luckily bugs will be all sorted by steam release which is a positive)

    I hope the game doesnt do too good in sales. They need a little reminder that what was fresh in 2009 if its repeated every 3 years stagnates and gets boring. More so if you only make it thinking about the hundreds of DLC's, ripped off of the base game, that you will sell later.

    Gearbox worked with 2K Australia in the Pre-sequel and its clearly another standard installement from the franchise. I got it in mid 2015 so I forgot it came out late 2014.

    If you would like 5 years since vanilla and 4 since last expansion/DLC. Could be time enough if you would renew the game but every footage released from BL3 is just like BL1 with textures overhaul mods10 years later.

    I mean they didn't make the pre-sequel so their hasn't been a borderlands game made by Gearbox since 2012 even counting the pre-sequel there hasn't been a borderlands game since 2014. I mean that is 5-7 years depending on who you are and if you count the pre sequel. I would say they gave the game plenty of room to not be boring or feel like a slog. Def considering the only thing they really changed were QoL improvements which will help the game feel fresh.

    Also dont get me wrong. I dont want them to go bankrupt but I wouldnt like for them to get the message that they are doing great by just refreshing the ol BL1/2 textures.

    At leat in Pre-Sequel they tried new real game mechanics with zeroG and O2. Not the best choice but they tried. Also they keep going deeper in lootbox mechanics and mini-DLCs with OP gear or semi-expacs with new OP characters in every new launch.

    Lets see how they do it in BL3 but with the progression they have BL4 will be a gatcha game with diamond buying.

    epic laucher is fishy as ****. my steam never been hacked but epic account have been few time hacked.
    too risky to buy from epic.

    Pre ordered on Epic and ready to go with 3 friends....dont care about the Steam/Epic bullshit...Steam has better features but they are both free...meh
