As avid huge borderlands fan, I couldn't care less, fuck epic, in my mind it doesn't come out for another 6 months.

Do you own an Amiga? How about a Commador 64? Maybe even a Vectrex?
Ya that's what I thought, poser gamer is more like it.

Actually those are good reminders of the "good old days" even if most here don't have a clue WTF we're talking about.
Before PCs got their gaming shit together, those of us who gamed in the '80s know that we were often locked in to game selection based on our chosen computer gaming system. Sure many of the top games released on Apple II, Atari 800 and C64 but many didn't. Same thing during the Amiga / Atari ST days.
Being locked-in based on a free DL of a digital store is trivial shit compared to what we had back then. And buying them all was a pie in the sky solution when you consider that an optional floppy drive for the Atari 800 was an extra $400 in early '80s bucks.

How does owning consoles and a PC make him a poser? What is that even supposed to mean?
I am told all the time that I am poser on Reddit and IGN for being a console gamer
I'm just having fun. He defined himself a "true" gamer cause he has all the consoles. So I just started listing some real old shit I know he has no idea of.

True and I absolutely agree. My reason to not support Epic is not one of just switching a store front it's more personal than that. It gets into the Unreal engine and how they treated indie devs and small time programmers before Fortnite came along and then they started trying to be over generous to make up for the bullshit they created in the past. Never forget.

Ok now you make me feel old my first computer was a Commodore Vic 20 then Spectrum 48K, Commodore C64, Commodore Amiga 500/1200 then a PC.
It's installed and I want it fed into all my holes.
I'm playing the vault hunter I want to try the least first, Amara.
I hear she's insanely strong. People are sleeping on her. Everyone wants to play FL4K.
According to the official sub-reddit and poll they did about a week ago everyone went Zane actually. FL4K had the least. Though I don't know how much the reddit speaks for the rest of the gaming community as a whole.
That's not consistent with what I've seen on reddit/twitter/GBX.

Personally I'm super excited for Borderlands 3, I need to go out and buy a new Hard Drive so I can play it on my PC though.

I'll be getting it.
I don't give a damn about the Steam vs Epic thing... Epic has treated me very well as a customer over the years.
