    Damn shame that they don't continue to make the games. Probably half of them would have been worthless but games for us to play :)

    Ouch, bringing up SWG almost brings a tear to my eye. I was playing Eve Online last night, and alot of the people in corp chat where talking about World of Starcraft had been canceled.

    There never was going to be world of starcraft. It was an april fools joke. plus the section of blizzards site for starcraft is under the domain world of starcraft.

    you for got to add star wars galaxies it died when the NGE came out. i was realy mad and sad that Imperator Online got cancelled before it got out it would have been a huge hit i think well who know maby some other company will pick it out down the road (for the love of god dont let soe get there hands on it)

    Sadly, a new game needs to go on the list. Blitz 1941 International has been cancelled after five months of beta testing. Severs go down 00:00(AM) 05/13/06 PST. The news:

    The good news are the developers, Mowelsoft, are hard at work on their next new title. Expect the game in 2-3 years.

    Ill miss Asherons call 2 Darktide server... still one of the best pvp systems to date... to bad someone didnt kife AC2 from Trubine and run a server for it...

    as for SWG,  its dead... it croked sad, but its truely gone.... perhaps bioware rumors might be true.... so well have to see... but holding onto SoE's f'ups wont bring it back -- just boycotte them... and move on

    One game that isn't on the list is MYST UrU.  That game was so different!  They did get a server up and running after it was canned.  It's called "Until Uru".  You can explore the ages of Uru and the To D'ni expansion.  It's worth checking out even though it is just a glorified chat program.  You can team up with others and explore the ages and solved the puzzels, but only if you have the game.  I think Uru would of been a radical departure for the mmo community.  Too bad it didn't get a chance.

    Aaah I will have to check that out. I loved the single players and I was gutted that it got cancelled so quickly. I never had a chance to play it. The setting and the basic idea was great but there wasn't conflict. Like ATITD where planting rice will drive you to suicide. It's ok to do some things single player, but not online with a group. no no
