Exiles no longer have to trudge across the Exiled Lands on foot in Conan Exiles as a new patch brings horses to the survival game.

    World is going to feel small. It feels pretty good on foot as is. I am not against mounts, just don't think world is big enough.

    Hell there is almost no danger when running on foot. NPC ai and movement isn't great. Just keep running and you rarely get hit.

    Could be a lot of fun for PvP I suppose.

    It's so weird for me looking at this game and not playing it.

    I'm a huge Conan fan.  I have all the books, tons of the comics, Conan Funko pops, played Age of Conan for eight years straight... I even liked the Jason Momoa film from a few years back and watch it once every couple of years.

    But I have no desire to play this.

    I guess it's just because survival games really turn me off.  I don't like spending my evenings whacking on barrels for bits of rope and metal.

    Conan isn't about building straw huts and crafting boots.  Conan is about wading into dozens of enemies and hellish monsters and destroying them with sinew, steel and sheer force of willpower.

    Instead of a Conan Survival game there should be a Shadow of Mordor style Conan game.  That's how you honor the legacy of Conan.  Not by wandering around on a beach naked with a seashell.

    Mounted combat could be savage if you used a chainsaw from atop a mount.

    Hey all.I know this article is about mounts. But I stoped playing this with my whole guild as well when a naked Chinese hackers clipped into our base stole everything without breaking anything. We saw them do it. Funcom could not stop it . Would not stop it. And could not stop the Chinese playing on every server out there. Every region . Region locked or not . Has this changed? Right now anything associated with then I skip. Well the whole guild skips too.

    How long ago you played? Dont think the chinese problem is as bad anymore. Lot less cheating now. They fixed alot of the exploits
