Star Wars Galaxies Legends, an emulation project based around the NGE version of the game, announced an upcoming community event currently underway called, "The Countdown to the Rise of Skywalker" Giveaway.

    I wish they would add some post-processing effects or something to the emulator. Anything to make it a little more modern. Bloom, Ambient Occlusion, Volumetric Lighting, etc... anything!

    There is a couple projects working on the graphics, and even a guy playing around with the unreal engine

    I play both EMU and Legends and the thing is this is the most complete and populated of the all emulator servers from what I have seen. SWG emu is mostly full of a lot of afkers and is still pretty buggy. Funny I left SWG over the NGE, yet I end up playing it.

    Technically, we would be restarting the game all over again for the third time after release and I'm not sure if that won't burn me out. I don't think I want to farm perfect CA/AA sets a third time. Especially since I solo Dark Jedi Masters because I'm poor.

    SWG Legends is absolutly Free and doesn't require you to pay anything to get the Full Experience, SWG Legends only takes Donations to cover the Cost of the Servers, Donators do not gain anything and Staff doesn't earn anything. This is purely a Volunteer Project. @WarWitch

    @fcwedd There is a Complete Graphical Overhaul available called ILM 2 and it's constantly being worked on to further enhance the Graphical Experience of SWG Legends.

    That's kind of what I'm waiting for as well and why I have been playing mostly legends. When EMU starts over I'll jump back in full time again. At least this go around we all have choices; though I have no idea who hosts a CU version of SWG.
