Final Fantasy XIV fans have been waiting for patch 5.1 for quite some time now, and with its release coming later this month (still not date given, though), Square Enix is started to peel back the veil on some of the updates players will see. As such, the Performance feature, will be getting an upgrade and was detailed today by the team.

But, no, it's just some rhthym game stuff.
Oh, well, maybe patch 8.2 then (but probably not).
This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
What i don't understand is all this performance talk,i played FFXIV back when things were not so good and during the reboot and on a very weak machine that had no business playing it and i had literally no problems.
Matter of fact, when i ran the original test program to see if my pc could run the game,it said no lol,i played anyway.
My gripes with FFXIV were never performance issues or graphics.Matter of fact,i liked a lot of the game however after playing FFXI for so long anything with a lesser combat/character design bothers me.Two other issues i have is i will not play an item level design and i do not like creating instance like game play in the open world.
IMO it wouldn't have taken that much to get this all on the right track.I would have been all aboard forever but imo they blew it right from the start because the character/class combat design was rushed and tried TOO hard to be different than FFXI.Different is ok if not designed WORSE,so yeah they blew it.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
The Performance in talk here is the musical performance actions in the game.
