How good is the "online" part of this game? I read that they are ending expanding the single player campaign to focus on the online part. Is it worth getting for the online side of the game, alone?
Nice. I will probably wait until the summer sale to pick it up since I'm mostly interested in the campaign anyway and not worried about the online population. Looks super good though!

I imagine it will be very similar to GTA online but in RDD universe.i haven't played it yet
looks good wonder if next gen console games will look like this ? i was never big on graphics, still enjoy 2d an retro games, thu if they can match this i'll enjoy it very much.
I was really hyped for this game when it first released. They shouldn't have waited so long to do a PC port because I've since lost interest. It's like the games you keep putting off in your Steam wishlist, and when you finally do buy them, you end up never playing them because there's something new and shiny you would rather be playing so it just keeps getting pushed back further and further in your queue.
I have preordered it. Mostly because i was watching some Twitch streams and the PVP looks fun, and im sure that Rockstar will be adding content for the next few years.
I only hope that it will run on medium with my outdated GTX 970.

I'm hopping this follows in suite of GTA Online. Lots of content / support and a solid community built around it. We need a GOOD western multiplayer game.

Absolutely nothing like GTAO. It's much slower paced. Traveling, hunting, fishing, missions, caring for a horse, light survival elements like eating and clothing... everything takes longer to get done.
For instance, and this is one example.. cleaning your guns. You have to maintain weapons or they simply don't work. You don't need to worry about that in GTAO. So in RDO, you get into a gunfight, there is nothing you can do if your guns are dirty. you cant relog to fix it, you need to take time to clean them either yourself or at a gunsmith. The game is full of these little things that make the game slower. It's the opposite of GTAO.
RDO is more of a Western Simulator than an action game its weird to say but it's true. I love it personally but a lot of people didn't like the speed of things.. they've done a lot to make it a bit faster but it's still pretty slow-paced for an "Action" game.

Got any links to videos with random pug co-op? From what I've seen online part is either identical to single-player solo questing or is PvP.
Thank you for your time!
edit : GTA5 is still btp.
why not? do you need to invest in 4k+ 120fps+ for a game to have you salivating or to be consider a PC gamer now?
The expensive minority is always the loudest. I rather salivate for good games, not pretty ones.
Fortunately, on PC, we can have both. No need to compromise. Pretty, fun, high framerate games ftw

A PC can handle 4K 144FPS no problem with the best monitors, Rockstar need to up their game so to speak.
Are you sure you are a PC gamer? Looks like you are happy with 30 fps
