I've been waiting to get into AA (again) but I wanted to wait until all of the crap was worked out.

Would if be the general consensus that all of the crap has been worked out? Bugs, disconnects, login issues, etc.?

If so, is there a server that isn't bogged down with long cue times?

Thanks!

The servers have been fine other than weekends for a little while now, no real disconnects anymore (occasional crashing on my end not really sure why) and no login issues.

Nobody knows whether or not it will turn P2W and Gamigo is pretty much considered incompetent, but they are listening to players at least a little bit (disabling the Archepass) when big exploits or bugs come up.

I've been having a blast with my guild but you have to really want to play Archeage and not care if in the future you may end up in another P2W server.

I would expect them to go into a subscription model before they went P2W again, but I could be wrong.

I'm not really worried about the Archepass. It didn't seem like it was that horrible. Last I read, it was removed completely, maybe to stop exploiters?... or because people just didn't like it?

    Thanks for the input.

I would pay a sub to play a clean, working version of AA.

If they completely removed the cash shop - I'd pay a sub for it.

They'd also have to revert trade, fishing to the old system and remove hiram gear though.

Basically revert the game to old AA without cash shop

Basically remove the recent themepark systems and restore the older sandboxy systems
Pre 1.0 without cash shop. Just take all my moneyz
still I find sad, this game and RFonline the devs made sure to kill they games with P2W mechs

sadder is when you spend years working on something and only thing you did right was when you made the thing, tend later you never improve it once

They have a plan to go more and more towards P2W- that's why they retained the cash shop.

Archepass was turned off temporarily because it's a complete shit system that they just threw into the game without proper planning and testing.

    Epic fail on archepass.

Not only was it exploited to hell - it also reduced ArcheAge to a mindless daily grind reward themepark bullshit game.

    Awful
LOL... you couldn't resist the conjecture. I'm not even remotely interested in your opinion on this. I'm just looking for information.

I'd say go for it, just try and find a good guild or group of friends to play with.

IMO AA was a game which really shined when enjoyed with a well organized team at your back.
