The latest Nvidia drivers are out featuring optimizations for Red Dead Redemption 2, which releases tomorrow on PC.

A GTX 1660 Ti can easily run that on high settings probably even ultra settings in 1080p

I have little to no issues with my second-gen i7 2700k, 16 GB of RAM, and 1070 Ti running all games at high or ultra at 1080p. I'm sure RDR2 will be a little more taxing, but I'm expecting to be able to at least use high settings. We shall see tomorrow. :-)
One wonders why one would click on an article and spend the time to write a comment on a topic on which they claim to have, "literally zero interest."
Oh yeah it is an online game for the sake of running a cash shop,so Rockstar needs to keep advertising this game like it does here with GTA online.
Last i checked,not many DOFUS articles being written here even though it is ahead of RDR2 lol.

Or it could be that the game is releasing on PC very soon, so people are interested in it?

Wait for steam release and give it a try.
I do not like the controls on most console games either...but i put up with it on this game for many hours. I will get this on steam, and think it will be much better with m/kb.
I am not much of an on-line player, but i think this will be a good game to get and enjoy. The steam return policy is really just long enough to make sure the game runs well and you like the controls anyhow.
So just cost you a couple hours to see for yourself. Never know...might turn into a game you enjoy for many hours as well...anyhow December Steam release not that far away, so not too terrible a wait to not have the Rockstar/epic stores and such for those that do not like them.

Actually the new and cheaper GTX 1660 Super can, which is way cheaper then the TI but the performance difference is like 1 FPS.

Uhm 2060 runs 10fps more in GTA v, then 1660Ti if that explain anything, a 1660 is also a 2060 without rtx/tensor cores, so i dont get the math of how 1660 can be better anyway

hmmm, in fairness, he's sort of right.
I mean, a book isn't necessarily "real" but people cry when reading intense stories. People also cry at movies. People "feel things" when they are presented with ideas or images that sort of connect with "things inside."
No reason a game can't be different. Now, if you say you don't feel anything when watching a movie or reading a book or even playing a storied video game then that's most likely how you are wired. but if it stirs emotions in him, and emotions that he just doesn't want to feel when playing a video game then he's probably better off not playing them.

The way he is feeling is part of being a human. If anything I would say you do not possess a certain aspect of humanity if you do not get what he is saying. The real world can be brutal and nasty, just watch the news. It is only human to want to escape that. Playing a game that features the worst of humanity is not escaping it for some. Some days I just want to escape all the bad and watch a light-hearted comedy rather than The Walking Dead. I am sure this is where he is coming from. If you don't get that you might want to put out an APB on your own humanity.

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'
