Did they ever make skills harder to get? I felt like when I originally played this I could get skills up extremely easy and it felt like it wouldn't take any time at all to get them maxed.

The game plays at the pace I expected given their inspiration, but performed more poorly than I felt it should. It is still rather early on, though.

The largest issue with the game in my view is that the developers have changed there minds several times recently regarding the extent of open PvP on the official servers, causing both those pro and con to have the promised play environment recanted on them in turn, after money was spent.

    Somewhat shady behaviour, there.

As such, be aware that if this game offers the type of play you seek on official servers today it may not tomorrow. It wouldn't be the first or second time it has changed significantly.

If one is unsatisfied with the state of the official servers there are many allowed private servers that are more consistent in their rule sets, ranging from PvE only to PvP with virtually no constraints. This effectively negates the issue of developer waffling for those willing.

So it's f2p now? I remember the devs scamming people when this released on Steam by saying the game would be 80% pve/20% pvp. Then after awhile they were like "Naww, we changed our minds, 100% pvp now". Nice bait and switch. Pass.

Is a man not entitled to the herp of his derp?

Remember, I live in a world where juggalos and yugioh players are real things.

Kind of strange to add and bunch of PVE features then add more PVP to disrupt you while trying to make the most of those new features.

Apparently they feel open PvP can accommodate more than PvP.

Better rename it to Legends of Scam.

Starting with '80% PVE and 20% PVP only' scam on Steam. Continue with full PVP and now wih F2P.
This company know how to get money from players. I wish them bankrupt soon TM :)

Sadly it was way worse than i imagined...sigh.

The build is like an ARPG,camera, very poor graphics, tiny tiny characters, terrible camera controls,1990's gaming.I read somewhere to join the Ultima server, wouldn't matter one single bit,the design is too archaic and not even a good archaic.

The Camera was soooooo terrible in this game that i couldnt handle playing for more then 10 minutes

if they fixed alot of the Camera issue's maybe it would have been a fun game. Worst camera controll in any game i have ever played

Nah, I'm avoiding this one till I see how the final product turns out, even though I did back it on the cheap years ago. I don't know if the developers are just totally confused or actually planned to scam people, but it's really dirty how they screwed their original backers by switching from PvP to PvE, then screwed their Steam backers by switching back to PvP and going F2P a few months after the paid Steam launch. Best case, it doesn't inspire confidence. Worst case, it's highly unethical. Either way, why would I want to support them further?

Things are looking pretty grim, considering going F2P on Steam was the game's last, realistic hope.  Here's the Steam #'s after the recent change to F2P:

I always knew this game was FFA PVP so I never bothered.
I didn’t even know this game went PVE for a while.

Maybe try to make a PVE sandbox game from the beginning so you can market it as such and people will at least try it.

FFA PVP is a niche of a niche, the amount of games being made is disproportionate to the actual potential player-base

Meanwhile I have yet to see a PVE sandbox MMO a la SWG.
    I find this buffling.

The game is one huge failure.

    1. The game is just plain bad, like really horrible gameplay, no proper tutorial or anything, swinging a melee weapon has no hit sound, it's just pathetic.

    2. For a B2P game that was always intended to remain B2P to go F2P due to low population, it just shows how pathetic the game and its developer team are. The game has changed its identity so many times that it pushed away all of its players, kinda like FireFall.
The developer's motto:  Always keep 'em guessing!  It's like a development shell game.
