Question about Sorcerer

Hello everyone! I'm soon starting up Lineage 2 again (after some bad experience with RF online) and decided to roll a sorcerer. however there is just one problem, and thats valakas. I decided my character will be for raiding, and the sorcerer's spells are fire based. there is just one problem, Valakas is a fire dragon..

basicly my question is, will I still do good agains valakas (and other fire based monsters) with a sorcerer? or does he has a high fire resistance?

Yes. But you can raid Vally on your own. You need about... 1k people.

A sorcerer wont be very good, you probly be useless, but rading Valakas will probly happen very rearly since they´s only one server who mangede to slay him and they used a ridiculously amounts off 100% Blessed rezzecrution about 1500, not to mention hes really high lvl so no one under 70 will probly be used

Aginst Fire restiance and Magic restiance mobs you wont be very good, they can be killede but takes a lot more spells

and DarkHeart2 the max numbers that can be in valakas cave are around 200 so 1k arent really needed and lionna killede him with 194 or something

Yea, my server (Gustin) took down Anthras and I heard it was alot but never got an exact amount so I just decided to wing it ^^

Don't start a character based on one boss you wont even have a chance to fight for many, many months of hard core playing (if you are DAMN good and dont cheat). I recommend playing whatever looks the most fun for your.

I'm going to agree with the others and tell you not to choose your class based on Valakas.

I'm curious.. what makes you configure your class based on a raid boss ?.?
If you're an ex-WoW player you should keep in mind that L2 is not nearly as raid-oriented. If i had to call it something, I'd say it's clan-pvp-oriented.

(Valakas doesn't take 1000 people to beat though,.. as someone said above.. in fact there's a 200 player limit to the instnace.)

sorcerer is one of the strongest classes in pvp.

The only classes that can match sorcerer is other nuker classes.

Nukers are insane in L2 now. They need to be nerfed.
